Searched Unilocal for cupcakes. This place came up. We checked the hours and then drove half an hour to get a birthday cupcake. When we get there they have a sign on the door saying they are closed for an event. What a terrible business practice. If you think you can make more money from events, then either make yourself a non-retail bakery or hire help to stay open during your hours. If you are going to post hours then stick with them. I’d say I’d come back and update this review but I see no reason to go back at this point — we ended up going to a bakery in fishkill.

The pies I ordered for Thanksgiving were nothing short then amazing! As full as we all were from dinner the pies were a huge hit. I highly recommend Antonio’s if you want very reasonable priced desserts with quality ingredients

My one request after giving birth was red velvet cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. My mother went to Antonio’s and they did an amazing job. Cupcake was moist and flavorful and the frosting had the perfect balance of cinnamon. This shop will be my go to cupcake stop! Check them out!

I love this place! Everything is baked fresh so if he sells out or you get there late, too bad for you. I’m so happy to have found a semi-close cupcakery nearby since I don’t care for the one in Beacon. I actually wish Antonio would move there!!! My favorite are the almond delight and the cannolli cupcakes. He makes very good chocolate cake. Also, the almond strawberry«shortcake»(which is actually puff pastry, but I can forgive the misnomer) is amazing, although not a cupcake!!! The place has a bit of a weird vibe at first but the more you go, the friendlier they get. I’ve tried a variety of cupcakes there and sometimes the frosting can be a tiny bit too sweet, but nothing gross. I like his creativity in coming up with different flavors. The other day they had chocolate cherry with little bits of cherry in the batter. You can’t be mad at that. He is actually very friendly once he becomes familiar with your face. I work nearby so if I ever see him around he says hi or waves. Give it a try but don’t get there late or you’ll be stuck with plain vanilla.

I am all about reading reviews about places before visiting granted everyone’s experience will be different. The business looks clean very simple however not a lot of variety with their bakery goods. I was looking forward to a vast amount of cupcakes and such however to my disappointment there wasn’t. There were a few cake pops in a closed fridge display and a few chocolate or vanilla cupcakes nothing really that blew me away. I tried out a few of their cupcakes and they were tasty. However not mind blowing for a 5 star review. Customer service is mediocre kind of had that feeling of my business didn’t matter. This place has no web presence which is needed in this time in age, however he did ask me to like him on Facebook. Place has a few tables however I don’t see this place as a place to sit and have a cupcake. I think this place needs more variety on their bake goods and to maybe offer drinks and soft music maybe that would entice customers to sit and enjoy their cupcake.

The verdict is in, this place is… just ok! 3.5 star rating for me! Often times I fall victim to the Unilocal sensation of amazing reviews and visit a place expecting multiple mouth orgasms only to meet disappointment. Imagine meeting that knock out mate only to find out they can’t kiss, talk about a buzz kill. Reviews for this place set me up for disappointment but it wasn’t a total bust. First off the selection for walk-ins is minuscule at best. The owner would probably disagree but when you compare the available selection here to other pastry shops there is a big difference but maybe that’s because of the volume of customers he gets(too few at the moment). I visited this place because of the mention of Macaroons. I purchased several cup cakes of different varieties and my satisfaction with the cupcakes varied greatly. The chocolate cupcake was to die for, the red velvet was good then I got to the yellow cupcake and it was average at best. I’m not sure if the yellow cupcake sat out longer than the rest but that was probably my biggest disappointment with cupcakes. Then I just kept wondering why all the cupcakes could not be like the chocolate cakes I had(two of them) which were absolutely to die for. If those cakes were consistent like the chocolate I would have said for certain this was the best place on earth. As for the macaroons, don’t walk in expected to sample those. The baker does very few of them and for good reason. Those are time consuming to make and not worth the effort if customers are not buying them regularly. So I custom ordered a dozen to may satisfaction BUT his macaroons were in no way as good as Macaroon Café in NYC. Macaroons were slimmer than I’m used to, filling tasted spot on but the cookie shell was harder than I expected. We let them sit out for over two hours before trying to make sure they were not frozen but the longer they sat out there was no change in softness. Macaroons were worth what I paid but you get what you pay for so Macaroons in NYC still gets my business at almost $ 3 a pop(worth every penny). Bottomline: This is not a bad place and depending on exactly what you order, you may be extremely satisfied or possibly disappointed. Mileage may vary depending on your taste/order. Maybe I’m a NYC snob that’s used to over priced pastries but that’s ok I’d take that as a compliment. :o)

I am a teacher and a girl brought in these cupcakes for her birthday celebration. OMG They are DELICIOUS! I’ve been to many of the cupcake places popping up over the years and this is the first time I have eaten 3 from the same place. Yum yum yum I have not been into the bakery. But the to go box was adorable and sturdy.

One of the best cupcakes I ever tasted! I am a huge cupcake person and tried all all kinds from DC cupcakes to Sprinkles cupcakes but hands down these cupcakes are better! They taste so fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. Will definitely be going back!!!

This place is such a treat! Everything i’ve tried is delicious. The macaroons are the best i’ve ever had and i’ve been to most of the fancy french bakeries in NYC. The rasberry cobbler is my favorite and there is a fresh rasberry inside :) such a cute touch. The cupcakes are to die for. So glad this place opened.

This is a small shop that sells a variety of creative cupcakes, cookies, and cupcake pops on sticks. The one time I stopped in, there was only one person working and service was a little slow. The worker(probably the owner) was very friendly and apologized for the wait. He was working hard and rushing to help each customer and keep up with everything, and probably cannot afford to hire more staff as a newly established business, so I didn’t mind waiting. The interior is nice with attention to details and plenty of seating. I purchased a variety of cupcakes, cookies, and cupcake sticks. All together, 4 cookies, 4 cupcake sticks, and 2 cupcakes cost me $ 20. It was a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. They all had unique tastes and were delicious. I will definitely be going back.
