The Paint Your Art Out classes are a fun way to spend an evening out with your friends, express your creativity, experiment with a new medium, create a special souvenir from your travels.

Create an acrylic painting in just 2 hours with the help of step-​by-​step instruction from artist, Heather L. Pastor. Choose from several popular subjects or try a special edition class: Pop Art Portraits, Picasso-​Style Portraits, Corks & Canvas and more!

Private parties also available for groups at my studio or your home. It’s a perfect event for birthdays, bridal & baby showers, bachelorette parties and more!

History

Established in 2012.

I was always very creative as a child and concentrated on commercial art and graphic design in high school. My portfolio earned me a place at University of Michigan’s School of Art, but I declined. I dabbled a bit in the arts throughout my entire life, but my artist self was pretty well stifled by the expectations and requirements of the every day grind until a few years ago.

It wasn’t until I found myself trapped in a cubicle and (not coincidentally) met a group of ladies that began reading «The Artist Way» together I revived my soul’s true desire and began to CREATE again. And then I decided I wanted to help encourage others who had also put their creativity on the back burner… So, I began offering Paint Your Art Out classes at locations all over Volusia county, entering my work in art exhibits & becoming immersed in the art community in New Smyrna Beach and beyond…

Award-​winning artist, Heather L. Pastor, has been creating art for over 25 years. Her teaching style is very relaxed and encouraging. She’ll teach you some basics of acrylic painting while you enjoy time with your friends and meet new ones!
