Established in 1987.

Phil and Regina met in 1984 and soon after set about to travel the world together, specifically the Caribbean, the South Pacific and South East Asia. Soon their vacations became buying expeditions for their blossoming interior design business

Island Collection is traditional Island Living at it’s best and is a full line of island furniture totally handcrafted from teak. Each piece is Architecturally designed by Phil Carpenter, inspired by the West Indies and hand carved in Bali. Our showroom is located on beautiful Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach and was founded in 1987.

This is one of the best shops in the area for those one of a kind items that can make a statement that requiring no explanation. The expressions exhibited here are so unique whether it’s a simple carving or a masterfully crafted piece of furniture. They also have a large selection of items that were created by repurposing as well as natural occurring materials and exotic woods from around the world. The prices seem to be extremely fair which I was a little surprised by considering the area and the way the items are sourced. This is definitely a shop you don’t want to pass by without peeking inside.
