We offer classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics/​Tumbling and Drama/​Acting.

Our Mission is to inspire young people to be the best dancers they can be. The faculty at Center Stage is committed to motivate and challenge every student. We find it extremely important to place our students in the appropriate classes so that they can get the maximum benefit from their class. Our teaching philosophy is based on instilling a passion for dance and the performing arts, while nurturing creativity. In addition, we strive to develop confidence, self-​esteem and self-​discipline. We encourage teamwork and teach life skills that will help them succeed in other aspects of their lives. We pledge to give you the finest dance instruction available and are committed to making each dance lesson a positive one. Our dedicated and experienced teachers look forward to sharing their passion for dance and the performing arts, with you and your children, the next Rising Stars!

History

Established in 2008.

We believe that all talented students in our community should have the opportunity to gain a quality dance and performing art education; Our studio maintains a state inspected professional dance environment including professional dance floors, limiting the injuries that many dancers obtain from dancing on improper floors and in non-​conducive environments.

Education is not limited to our classrooms as we regularly take students to amateur and professional performances. Furthermore, our students are also well prepared and encouraged to audition for local amateur and professional performances.

Center Stage is a proud business partner of Volusia County Schools, demonstrating that commitment by giving free tickets to all Volusia County students to attend our year end performance. Center Stage offers scholarships designed for students who are interested or actively involved in the fine arts. Anyone interested is encouraged to apply, please contact us for an application.

Meet the Manager

Nadine S.

Manager

Miss Nadine has an extensive background as a performer and teacher with over 30 years experience in Dance and Theatre. Born and raised in New Jersey, she has studied, performed, instructed, and/​or choreographed all over the state and in New York. Nadine’s credits include radio commercials, professional films and musical performances and/​or choreography for such productions as Aida (featuring Pavarotti), South Pacific, Guys and Dolls, Follies, Me and My Gal, Where’s Charlie, Mame and David Windfield’s Drug awareness video Turn it Around. She has also performed the Nutcracker with the New Jersey Ballet Company, Peter and the Wolf (as the Wolf) and was an original member of New Jersey’s Members of the Movement Dance Company. She currently resides in New Smyrna Beach and teaches dance and acrobatics to all ages at Center Stage Dance and Performing Arts.
