Specializing in Southern desserts, we use fresh, all natural ingredients to make our luscious sweets. Along with signature items like Sweet Potato Pound Cake with Brown Sugar Glaze, we also bake seasonal pies like the NY Times reviewed Blueberry Pie with Cornmeal Crust.
Shouldn’t have sugar? We also make sugar-free breads like Chocolate Zucchini and Carrot Cake — all made with agave nectar.
We sell Online & at The New Rochelle Grand Market (Saturdays 9 am — 2 pm)
…and if you’re in NYC — we even deliver!

History
Established in 2010.
Margaret Chambers Matthews, known as «Big Ma,» was my great-grandmother.
Lucky for me, her recipes were passed down from mother to daughter through the generations.
In August 2010, I started my adventure of sharing my luscious desserts with the men and women in barbershops and salons in the Harlem community.
It all started with Big Ma’s Sweet Potato Pie, then came Sweet Potato Pound Cake with a drizzle of silky brown sugar glaze. Then I brought my creamy Lemon-Lime Cheesecake with Gingerbread Crust. Next, my very favorite cookies like White Chocolate Lemon Coconut and Almond Butter Brickle. Lastly I watched people’s eyes light up when they tasted my famously moist, sugar-free Chocolate Zucchini Bread with toasted hazelnuts.
I’m still spreading my wings, bringing you the best Southern desserts I can… cause we’re all just one Sweet Potato Pie away from home.
