Shore Road Diner

While I’ve never been to the restaurant I get delivery to my office about 1 – 3 times per week.
I was so happy when I found this on seamless because it’s hard to find fast and reliable delivery in New Rochelle.
I always get omelettes and they are always delivered quickly but better yet still hot, which is a huge plus in my book! The Western omelette and an iced coffee are my go tos. The omelettes are always cooked to perfection.
My co workers usually get salads or paninis and all give it two thumbs up!

I went there 3 weeks ago and the place seems to be under new management. The food its very good and the service was fast and welcoming. I had a turkey deck sandwich and it was delicious. The place is clean and well organized. I will definetly go again.

Came here for breakfast this morning with my family. The food was good, the prices were reasonable, and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The place is under new management, hopefully they can keep this place going. It is a nice little local spot in New Rochelle. I hope I can come back soon for breakfast again!

Today was my First time eating there since they opened under new ownership. Seems like the same food as old management, but more expensive and worse service. The older waitress tries really hard, but struggles with multi-​tasking and messed up one of our orders. The portions for the chicken parm hero were pretty small, and the food left me with a really bad stomach ache. Don’t know if ill be going back.

This place is an acquired taste, but basically it’s your typical greasy spoon diner. They do the greasy spoon breakfast thing really well. No frills, just grills. Love their omelets, and the coffee is decent.
In terms of service, they have always been nice to me and my bf. They greet us by name, and if one of us comes without the other they ask us where the other person is! I’ve never had to wait longer than a minute or two for anything. So I’m not sure what other people are referring to.
I enjoy my time here. It’s nice to have a local diner that is just about the basics. Where you can get a hearty breakfast for $ 10 – 12, with home fries, buttery toast and coffee with free refills. Nothing more, nothing less! :-)

Very poor service. The server wasn’t at all nice and the food was below average. I was disappointed by the restaurant

Service suck I don’t recommend it to no one so sad it used to be a great place to have lunch or breakfast now it’s as if they don’t want your business I will give it another shot in a later time and let’s see what happens

Horrible service. I placed a breakfast order after going over the order with the server over the phone they messed up my order and refused to fix the issue. I had to go there with the order to get my refund.

So I went back again on a Saturday morning for breakfast and got a Western omelet and coffee. I would have liked for them to have cut the vegetables up a little more, but it was acceptable. I do like the service there, though it wasn’t busy.

Ordered breakfast here and it was horrible as well as the service. This is just one of the inedible items on my plate. I ordered pancakes and beef sausage and the beef sausage was fried for so long it was like biting into a leather belt. The pancakes were so plain, under cooked and small. If you want quality breakfast and an enjoyable experience do not come here. Typical greasy spoon. This place just opened up and they have broken stools, broken make shift picture frames no air conditioning plenty of flies etc. I can go on and on. As for our waitress, I’ve had better service at the dmv office, the woman looked like she had her hair styled by the wind, Sweating profusely and just not connecting with the customers. Again you want a good breakfast do NOT come here.

Not pleased at all! The waitress is sweating as she takes our order, her hair is a greasy mess, she should have to pin it up or put a hair net on. We try to get past the dirty hair and order our food. Our food comes out and to our surprise a «hungry man» platter that comes with pancakes, eggs, sausage & hash browns, comes with miniature pancakes! It’s called a hungry man but you get served three silver dollar pancakes, doesn’t make sense to me. Prices were reasonable but the service was terrible. The food was mediocre at best. Coffee tasted like brown water. This place left a whole lot to be desired. Not impressed one bit, actually totally dissatisfied. First and last time here for sure!
If management is reading this, for the sake of your business sit down with your staff and implement a more welcoming atmosphere, personal cleanliness, turn on the air conditioning and close the door, the amount of flies in this place is disgusting! Have your waitresses CHECK the orders BEFORE they bring them to the table so they don’t have to go back and forth to the kitchen blaming the cooks.

Good diner food with friendly and attentive service, but what really stands out is the decent pricing. Place is a little small but this doesn’t really take away from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this café to anyone in the New Rochelle area. CASH ONLY!

Actually some of the best cheap food around. Next time, skip the diner and go to Richie’s gem on shore Road. Get two perfect overeasy eggs, home fries and toast for 3.75! Are you kidding me? Great coffee too and personalities. Most days you will see a group of older men joking and laughing. My favorite is the mozzerella, tomato and spinach omelette pleases all of my senses with some hot sauce. Also had a perfectly cooked burger which comes with the necessary half sour pickle. Pot roast lunch special was delightful. I didn’t enjoy the lemon chicken lunch. A fried piece of chicken with an uninspired sauce. But, the girls that work there are awesome and i am always happy with belly full when i leave.

Stumbled upon this little café online and wanted to check it out. We were unsure at first as this place had no Unilocal reviews but we were felling adventurous and decided to give it a try. We were seated as soon as we walked in a waitress came right over for our drink orders. We went with the usual breakfast suspects, bacon egg and cheese and eggs over easy with bacon and hash browns. The food came out within 5 minutes of ordering it. The bacon was delicious and the home fries were crispy on the outside but almost mashed potatoes when you broke into them. Overall a great breakfast spot!!!
