Understaffed, not typical Marriott standards if you are an Elite Member — just an odd sketchy environment. Room was clean but looking forward to checkout and never returning. More like a Days Inn on a bad day than a Marriott should have known when the outside sign had letters not working. Stay at another Marriott property in the area.

Stayed here for the first time last week. The lobby and 10^th floor are under renovations, so I’m looking forward to seeing the results at some point.
First — the parking is connected to a very large lot in the area… so if it’s your first visit here, check in by parking in front (along the small cobblestone area) first. They will give you a slip that goes on your dashboard so that you can park in one of the (Residence Inn) designated areas on the first and second levels of the larger garage.
Staff is very nice and the room was clean. They had breakfast set up on the 6^th floor while the 10^th floor is getting renovated. I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but it looked like a nice spread. When I arrived, there were cookies on the counter for guests to help themselves to along with several coffee choices near the elevator.
There are several chain restaurants very close by — Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees and Texas Roadhouse are a few that I noticed. No need to drive to any of them — they are literally right there… walking distance Also, there’s a movie theater in the same complex, so if you’re into movies, there’s something for you to do. I think it’s an IMAX theater, too.
All in all, a good experience. If I need to stay in that neighborhood again, I’ll definitely be back.

One star for very helpful staff, they’re all great, and hardworking, and always greet you with a smile, but having to smell the extremely strong odor of rotten milk half heartedly covered up by chemicals in the lobby every day this entire week, and having to look at the disgusting carpet there, and to also have to see the soiled lobby furniture several times a day is just too horrible. One week here is just too much. Having our company transfer us to another hotel A.S.A.P!!! Come on Marriott Corporate!!! Don’t let stains, and stink ruin your reputation.

Let’s Start I checked in to my room when we had got in our room we open the pull out bed and there was rat shit was on the bed. I was disgusted Very horrible service. And there was no manager on for the nite there was trying to give us a handicap room and when we refuse there say there was no other room left and I can’t get my money back

This is an adequate stay. Luxury – no. Spacious – yes. Clean – fair. Updated – somewhat. Friendly star – yes. Free breakfast – nice enough for free! Stay again – probably if in the area again. Better than some, not as nice as others. B+ rating.

This place is really not what I expected it to be. I called twice for an early check in to be told to call upon date of arrival. So, upon date of arrival I just showed up without calling. I was checked in early. Pretty much they just don’t care to try and see if anything is okay. The carpet felt like it has not been cleaned. After being charged by Priceline for the room… I had an undisclosed charge of an additional $ 10.84. I’ll let them have it because it seems like they’re in dying need of it. Check-​in ladies are nice in person though, but that’s expected. Also, the consistent rowdy crowd near the hotel is from Buffalo Wild Wings as a woman it’s uncomfortable… the cat calls that is.

After a pretty horrendous experience at the Fairfield Inn in Albany, NY, this rekindled my love for the Marriott chain. Not only was the staff extremely inviting, but the hotel is kept up very nicely and the room was immaculate. Moreover, there were complimentary snacks and drinks (whether due to my Elite Status or not, I didn’t ask), which was a pleasant surprise. Fortunately, I needed neither, as the area is very nice and quaint, with several restaurants within waking or driving distance, along with shopping and a Regal cinemas just outside of the hotel. Definitely recommended as an overnight stay if you’re ever in the area.

I came here since a few people I knew were staying here and I thought this hotel was nice, clean and the staff was very accommodating. This hotel is in a great location since there is an applebees, movie theater and other restaurants right in front.
The rooms were big and had a full kitchen which is always a plus in my book.
It didn’t look like they had parking or at least free parking.

The room is pretty good and location is right in the middle of a mall and downtown New Rochelle which is good for a visitor to the area and to get to NYC. The kitchen is nice and the room has two big Samsung TV’s and the staff were great. My biggest beef was the noise at night from the trucks across the street that were loading and unloading all night long. And with the use of chemicals for cleaning dispite there PR campaign to be scent free and use of a cleaner made by ECOLAB there was nothing eco about the place. The gym smelled so badly of chemical cleaners I couldn’t even use it. When I told the manager she was polite but didn’t seem to really care about being environmentally conscious if she even got what the issue is of using products that are industrial cleaning products made with cancer causing agents and how that affect guests and the cleaning staff health. and of course she was white and the staff almost all black and latino and underpaid cause is a non-​union hotel so what do you expect in terms of consciousness. so if you want a place that is in any way environmentally conscious and isn’t gonna kill you with chemicals or has any politics about paying a living wage to workers don’t stay here. and make sure you don’t face the truck loading area if your a light sleeper. if you don’t care about those things the room is fine and is nice to have a kitchen.

We only stayed one night coming for a family function but it was comfortable and the staff was very nice. It’s a busy area with lots of entertainment and action but we found the parking and because we came late the hotel comped us the ten dollar parking fee. The room was beautiful and had a kitchenette but we weren’t able to utilize it give the shortness of our stay. The complimentary breakfast was nice but not sumptuous. Overall it exceeded our expectations.

I decided to spend the night here for my birthday since I had folks visiting from out of town. I was given the BEST treatment. The staff was super helpful, friendly and accommodating… Stacey is awesome! The room was nice, roomy and clean. The décor was simple but cheerful and there was an unexpected birthday surprise waiting for me. The breakfast was good hotel breakfast fare. From the time I arrived until the time someone helped us load up our car, I was very happy with my decision to stay at the Marriott Residence Inn. I will defnitely recommend to others.

If you have a Cat 1 – 4 cert to burn, sure. Otherwise, pass.

They have very clean, nice rooms and the area is very nice during the day. I stayed here for my wedding but would not have ventured out during the evening. However, that is not the hotel’s fault. everything around there closes early except for local seedy bars. They were prompt with reservations and left a call back list open for my guests who did not call in time.

Nice & big rooms. Prices not that bad. Friendly staff. Free breakfast upstairs.
