Don’t buy security system from dealer– scam to get more money after you nuy the car. Spent 600.00 on system that continually alarmed so had to have shut off and did not reimburse.

CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH.
Used their website to get an internet quote. Was emailed by their internet sales rep Jillian who instead of just giving me the quote like every other toyota delearship i contacted used the line, «I’ve found that a five minute conversation can save days of going back and forth through email.». I agree to play along since i could always refer to the price listed on their website and talk to her on Friday and setup an appt to see a specific car i was interested in that sunday. When i arrive on sunday i’m handed off to a regular salesman (i forget his name) who tells me that they JUST sold the car but would i be interested in something else. I laughed and walked out.

I must say hands down best customer service I’ve received in a long time. In particular their sales associate Celeste Vera, She was not pushy and she took her time in showing us all the available deals and cars Toyota had to offer. In fact we had no intention on leasing a car especially in NY but the offer was too good to pass.

I had a good experience here. I had purchased a Scion tC and paid cash for it. I had dealt with Leon and he was pretty straight forward by telling me Scion prices are set by the manufacturer and that made it a straight forward transaction.
Positives: Leon really did bend over backwards to get me what I needed. Everything from showing me the car to swiping his own debit card at the parts counter for a Keychain because I told him, I couldn’t drive out of here with the flimsy keychain that had their stock number tag on it.
I have to say I was most impressed with Leon when I had told him that the number 4 in Chinese culture was deemed unpleasant because it is pronounced similarly to the word «die!» He quickly put together a license plate with «DIE! DIE! DIE! (4 4 4)» in it would be deemed rude. So he had his DMV guy come over and ask what would be a good plate number? My uncle said «High numbers and a number 8!» I laughed when they came back with 7’s, 8’s and 9’s. It was very thoughtful.
Overall I can’t speak for all the sales guys here but if you’re dealing with Leon, you’re in good hands! Would definitely come back here again.

This is kind of a hard review to make because it was so good and so bad at the same time. My wife and I were both looking into getting new cars. I had been bringing my 4Runner here for 10 years for service and always had a great experience… and considering i got 275,000 miles out of my 2004 Toyota. it was all good
So…first for my wifes experience… she wanted to lease a 2015 Rav4 Limited… it all went absolutely perfect with Aldo the salesman who is an absolute great guy… charming, knowledgeable and so down to earth and you just feel like hes got both his and your best interest at heart… he explained everything and answered all our questions and we walked out of there with the best deal we could get and the new car that same night… GREAT EXPERIENCE”.
At the end of that deal i told Aldo i also wanted to get a new car and was looking to buy the 2015 Highlander Limited. It was late so i came back the next day and asked for Aldo and we talked about the car and i took a test drive and loved it and was so excited to stay with Toyota especially the long use i got out of my 4Runner. The only problem was i wanted the blue with black interior and they inly had white with almond interior… but Aldo told me they would have it in a few days and i left my $ 500 deposit.
3 days later i called… because no one had call me and Aldo told me thiese cars were in very high demand and it would only be a few more days as they transported it from another dealer out of state
3 more days passed and Aldo called me and said the manager told him it wou, d be at the most a few more days… I told them I am a visiting nurse and have been renting a car to use for work and if they cant get the blue… ill take the red… but they still only had the white. because i need a car to work.
3 days later again a manager called me and left me a 2 second vm saying they cant get the red either but in 2 days the blue will be here… Well…by now i guess you figured out that… that never happened and in 3 days i emailed Aldo and told him i would be cancelling this order and wanting my $ 500 back… he did call me back and apologized many times and i could tell in his voice that he was in the middle here and probabaly knew this was all a cluster F from the beginning as they most likely knew they would not be getting the car for a month or 2.
So…I wound up getting a 2015 Duango R/T…my first American car and I love it!!!
After more than 10 years of going to this place for all my servicing of all of the 275K miles… im done… will never go back and defintely never bringing my wifes new Rav 4 in there… So after owning 4 Toyotas… Im done with them and this place!

Here is how to lose a customer. I hope the used car staff reads this. I have been a dedicated Toyota owner for 10 years. I bought a minivan in 2006 and loved it. I had them do all the service for almost 10 years and I was hoping that would help me in my attempted purchase of another used minivan. I was wrong. I tried to purchase a minivan for $ 1000 less than asking price. They would only take off 250. I put down a deposit and shook about five people’s hands. You never give them exactly what they are asking for-​right? I was ready to give them a check for payment in full but they would not budge. Their final offer was $ 26,555 less $ 250 for 2013 Toyota Sienna with 26K miles on it. Granted the deal was nice but giving the fact that I spent thousands of dollars on previous service and willing to spend as much on my new vehicle I felt dissed. They could have taken off another $ 750 and kept my business. Any way I loved the service dept especially Matthew. I, m sorry it had to end this way!

Well it’s been since August 2006 that I had dealings with this place. I bought a new 2006 Toyota Matrix. When I drove the car off the property I thought WOW a new car no more used car troubles. 2 days later driving home smoke is coming from under the hood! I check with a flashlight and noticed the oil cap was upside down ! Oil had spewed all over the engine and belts, everywhere. I’m like what the hell, why is the cap upside down. Went back and they steam cleaned the engine and anything else that needed fixing. 5 months later my mechanic tells me my tires are worn, I said how could that be it’s a new car, new rubber, I only drove 1900 miles how could they wear? They put crappy tires on! LOSERS! Then the emails and all the mail and coupons from them, all garbage. Then one day I get a notice 5000 mile checkup. There was some bull coupon which was worth nothing. I bring the car in and walk into the waiting area… It was like jury duty waiting and waiting. Then a sales guy calls me up and tells me I need a new windshield wiper arm for both, I said really? A new car, 5000 miles and new arms? I asked how much, he had the nerve to tell me and I said no, leave them alone please. Well hours later when I did get my car back, I was given «the Bill» $ 600 a list of parts I don’t even know what they are, including the labor cost, which was more than half the bill! I said this will be the very last time I come to this dump and now take my matrix to my mechanic who I know won’t release the car to me with the oil cap upturned!

Run away from this place. My husband and I were looking for a used RAV4 (with around 30k miles or less) and saw one listed on their website that matched our criteria and was priced way below everything we had seen around our area. My husband called and was told the car was available, so that afternoon, we drove 1.5 hours from NJ to see the car. When we get there, the salesman walked all over the place trying to find the car, before telling us that «it must have been sold» (right, in 4 hours since we called?!). When we expressed our disbelief, he told us they sell so many cars there every day. So then he lead us to a RAV4 with 3k miles with an asking price of almost brand new. Upon closer inspection, I realized the car had a really badly patched dent on the rear bumper (making me suspect it had been in an accident). We told him we weren’t interested in that car, especially with that horrible patch up job. He assured us it’d be correctly patched, but wouldn’t budge on the price. He spent about 30 minutes arguing with us about the price until finally his manager intervened and told us we clearly were at an impasse. We promptly went to the Honda down the road and bought a CR-​V with 29k miles for 5k less than what they were asking for the banged up RAV4. Most pleasant car buying experience at the HONDA that I’ve ever had. This Toyota dealership clearly has no issues with using bait and switch tactics to draw in customers. BUYERS BEWARE.

Do not even consider buying a car here. I wanted to buy a new prius and met with the salesman, we struck a deal and completed a retail order (the car was coming in but not there yet). I gave a 1000 deposit to hold it when it did come in. They called the next day to say the car had arrived and I went in to test drive. It was at an offsite lot and being Sunday they could not get it for me. I had said I would come in on Sunday. I test drove a similar car and confirmed I was buying the one on the offsite lot. I gave them 2000 more toward the final price. The retail order and spec sheet were for a 2015 Prius V and after over a dozen emails where they kept changing the amount due and trying to change the car they said I had bought (to a 2014 model at a HIGHER price), they reneged on the original deal. This was two weeks for me without a car. And I will have to start all over again with another dealership.
I wanted to buy a car here because I found the service on my former car (also a prius) to be excellent and went out of my way to have it serviced at New Rochelle Toyota.

Worst experience of my life. After saving our income for so many years my boyfriend and I decided to purchase our dream truck. The customer service is horrendous, workers fail to finish their work because it’s past their «work hours and they don’t work overtime». They failed to cancel our warranty even after my showing up a dozen times and speaking to one incompetent person after another. PLEASE STAY AWAY. I will be calling corporate, I understand that this is a business, however you don’t simply scam hard working individuals.

I got my car from this place and ended up having a lot of technological problems with it (including the car shutting off while driving on the highway) and the dealership is no use in assisting the problem. For one, the people there are very pushy and impatient. The service department is incompetent and unorganized. I had to drop off my car 6 times and they still could not figure out what the problem is. The last phone call with the manager Billy resulted in him hanging up on me and then going on lunch when all I wanted to know is what I should do with the car now as it is not safe to drive. Do not go here — don’t waste your time.

Service: expect a wait depending on the work that needs to be done. Walter is the rep I like to go to. He’s apologetic due to the long wait and was very nice and informative. He didn’t try to push «repairs» on me. He’d tell me what my car needs and he won’t try to persuade me to do repairs that my pocket couldn’t handle. Minus 1 star for the wait, but that’s to be expected.

I’ve had a horrible time working with Toyota sales at New Rochelle Toyota. I received temporary plates on my car upon leasing it and was assured that I would receive my plates within two weeks of having the car. After 3 weeks, I still had not heard about my plates and called to find out where it was? I was told that more paperwork was needed and that that was communicated to me (which it wasn’t). After running around for a week from place to place to get the correct paperwork signed, we finally submitted everything to have my plates delivered. By this time, my temporary plates had expired and I wasn’t able to drive my car. I had to park my car at the dealership to avoid getting towed. I had already made my first car payment but wasn’t able to even drive my car due to the oversight of New Rochelle Toyota in not checking on my plates.
It has been a week since I dropped off my car which means a week of the car not being in my possession. I paid a car payment for a car that I cannot even drive which makes no sense at all. I wasn’t offered any type of reimbursement or a temporary rental car while this all gets figured out. I was supposed to hear back regarding my plates today and when I called the dealer, I was told that he was with a customer. I mentioned that I needed him to call me back as soon as possible. When I called to follow up 3 hours later, I was told that he left for the day. If you know this is urgent, why would you leave? I was also told that the DMV clerks left for the day even though they also know the urgency of this. I am still unable to drive my car or do anything without to avoid getting towed and/​or getting tickets. So far they have been very unhelpful and I regret purchasing my car here.

I did not purchase my car at this dealership, but due to its close proximity to my office, I have brought my 2013 Toyota Prius there for routine maintenance at the 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 mile marks. My first two visits to the dealership were pretty customary. Today I was scheduled to bring the car in for its 15,000 mile service.
Much to my luck, I went to my car this morning only to see that the drivers’ side mirror had been damaged and would likely need to be replaced. I arrived at the dealership and proceeded to enter the service center. The gentleman whom handled my drop off was playing poker on his phone in between entering my information. As I explained the details of my crappy morning dealing with the broken mirror, he’s deciding whether to fold or play a card! I muster up enough strength not to say anything, but seriously? I just told you my mirror was broken this morning and you’re playing poker?! This is no longer a routine maintenance appointment; now I may actually spend some money with you guys for repairs and you can’t give me your full attention?
He completes my check in and I alert him that I’ll need my car by noon. He said no problem. At 11:22AM I get a call letting me know the extent of the damage and an estimate for repairing the damages. $ 500 total to replace a mirror. I tell them no thanks and to just do my routine maintenance. I remind them I’ll need the car by noon (mind you, I dropped it off at 8:30AM).
Finally at 3:41 I call because I haven’t received any notice of the car being ready. It’s done, so I walk over to the dealership. After getting my receipt, I head out to the pickup area and there’s not a soul in sight. After standing out there for several minutes, I go back inside to the service area and ask if anyone minds bringing me my car or am I supposed to walk the parking lot to find it.
I don’t know if it was poor timing with the holiday a day away or if this place is always this poor, but the service was reprehensible. I’m thinking value outweighs convenience and I’m looking for another dealership to take my car to.

Just saw a report on our local News12 station about how this dealer has scammed customers each $ 400 in mysterious fees, and they have had to reimburse more than a 100 people, and apparently they committed fraud by saying they were A rated when they are F…
What makes car dealerships so???

I was going to buy my next Toyota here, so I began bringing my current Toyota Camry hybrid here for service. Only been there twice. First time was minor. The second time, I picked up my car only to find scratches on the back door that were not there when I checked it in. I took pictures and called to report the problem and never heard back. After this experience, just to check their work, I took the car to my own personal mechanic, a local guy I’ve been using for four years who has done amazing work on my previous car. He found badly clogged filters, clogged drains, front and rear suspension and front calipers in need of lubrication. New Rochelle Toyota’s website promise is to «keep your vehicle in like-​new condition.»

STAY AWAY! Do NOT buy a car here or get your car serviced here!
I took my Matrix in for a simple oil change. Everything seemed fine. The service rep told me I needed a new battery, and it cost $ 181. When I refused, he tried to pressure me to buy it. No big deal. I drove off, thinking everything was fine. But my engine was making a weird noise, and the maintenance required and the check oil lights were on.
So the next morning, I took my car to Greenwich Toyota. Turns out, New Rochelle Toyota drained all of the oil from my car, but NEVER put new oil in. And my car battery is fine. No need for a new one. Avoid New Rochelle Toyota at all costs. This place STINKS!
p. s. A few years ago, I tried to buy a Camry from New Rochelle Toyota. We agreed on the price, I put down a deposit, and we were all set. Two days before I was supposed to pick up my new car, I called to confirm. They told me the price went up $ 2,000. I had to fight for three weeks to get my deposit back.

I did not end up buying a car here, but actually had an enjoyable experience with my sales team, Harold & Sal, and thought the least I could do is write a good review.
I came into the store ready to buy, but only on my conditions. I own a pretty fabulous, low mileage Acura that started off as a train car. Now that I am commuting more, I became interested in possibly trading it in for a Prius.
Let me preface this by saying I am not an easy person to deal with when making a large purchase. Harold & Sal were awesome– and really tried to make the deal happen. In the end, it made more financial sense to keep my car. If you are thinking of going with a Toyota, this dealership offered me the most honest and straightforward service in the Westchester area.

Go there once in a while for maintenance, and other things that I find kind of redundant, but whatever. When you go, they give you *options*
A) you wait and it’ll be done in a jiffy (who knows how long that is?)
B) leave your car and it’ll be done by noon-​1pm (car appt is at 8am)
The car ends up being done at 2, sigh. So, I basically get up early, and i’m without a ride for the rest of the morning.
It’s good service in the end, never had any complications. Employees are friendly and i’ve never gone wrong with toyota. Like I said, it’s once in a while so I really don’t mind… whatever
