Specialties
Eye Level is an education service provider for individual supplemental support for students ages 3 – 16 in Math and English. The main goal of the program is to solidify a foundation of fundamental skills and build confidence through mastery.
Our programs in Math and English are nationally recognized by the US Department of Education and are aligned with the Common Core State Standards. The programs are designed to develop critical thinking skills as well as basic fluency in all topics covered. The Eye Level curriculums enhance students’ current skills while addressing any deficits in order to provide each student with the resources to be successful on all subject specific tests and apply acquired skills to excel in other academic areas of study. Students who progress through the Eye Level programs develop a solid foundation paving the road to higher learning with success.
History
Established in 2013.
Daekyo, Eye Level’s parent company, was founded in South Korea in 1976 by Young Joong Kang, PhD. Over the next 20 years, Dr. Kang’s fresh approach to supplemental education would transform the industry.
Dr. Kang’s key insight was to create an approach to skills mastery that took the individual student’s point of view as the foundation for all learning. As a result, the Eye Level method teaches students based on their own eye-level view of the material, and is based on the educational principle of self-directed learning.
One of the key Eye Level distinctions is our curricular emphasis on developing critical thinking ability. Our curriculum for critical thinking development is one of the reasons families become so loyal to the Eye Level program.
