History

Established in 1988.

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) was formed in 1998, when three offices (12 partners/​8 locations) merged into a single practice. Fourteen years later, ENTA has grown to nearly 140 physicians, practicing in 38 office locations throughout the New York/​New Jersey area. ENTA also offers patients over 70 licensed audiologists in its clinical office locations. We are clinically affiliated with The Mount Sinai Hospital for the screening and treatment of diseases of the head and neck and silent acid reflux. The physician healthcare delivery model within which we practice provides convenient access to a broad yet seamlessly coordinated range of comprehensive services, offered under a single roof.

Manager

Dr. Derek Soohoo is a Yonkers native and Fordham Prep School graduate. He earned his MD from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1990. Dr. Soohoo completed his Otolaryngology training at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in 1995. Dr. Soohoo is Board-​Certified in Otolaryngology-​Head & Neck Surgery and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at New York Medical College.

Dr. Soohoo’s special interests are in endoscopic sinus surgery, disorders of the voice, pediatrics and neck and thyroid surgery.
