Just a heads up, I would not recommend this place if you’re allergic to cats or dogs!
I’ve been to quite a handful of hookah lounges but this one is by far the most chill and nicest one yet. The whole atmosphere and vibe of it all was definitely relaxing and it has a welcoming feel, almost as if you’re just hanging out at a close friends house. The owner, Randy, was super laid back. He takes care of you and your needs and you can tell he really loves what he does. he also has dry humor which I thought was just hilarious. Not to mention his pet dog was the sweetest thing ever! I’m really glad I was able to hang out here, the lounges in San Diego need to step it up now. Thanks Randy for making our trip a little bit more awesome!

I called the other day to find out a bit more about the lounge and the guy who answered the phone (same voice as the one on the voicemail) was extremely rude and unprofessional. apparently they never answer the phone the first time as the voicemail (VM) says if you get this message and its your first or second call to call right back and only leave a message on the third try. the man picked up on the second just before the VM and immediately yelled at me for calling multiple times while they were closed, even tho he said to do so on the VM and their website said they were open. My first question was to find out if he could give me a piece range and he flat out said no, and that if I was worried about prices to not even bother coming. I will never go here and will tell all my friends who enjoy hookah not to go.

I LOVE the Shocka Lounge! My favorite hookah place so far in the Tampa Bay area. Quiet, intimate surroundings, incredibly friendly staff and comfortable seating. Not to mention the amazing price, the ben-​over-​backwards attitudes, and the amazing product. They show local art pieces too — a hookah bar after my own heart! We’re getting to be regulars here.
