I kept having to extend my stay due to complications moving into my new place and all the ladies were extremely helpful and accommodating. They definitely helped ease my stress. However the bedding had tears and holes in them and the toilet paper in the bathroom was left over from the previous customer. In my opinion it wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And I didn’t like that all the hotel rooms had direct access to outside, maybe that’s a bonus for someone else, but be aware of that. It’s right off of the highway and it didn’t feel incredibly safe. The restaurant in the hotel is never open. So if that is a contributing factor to your stay I would look elsewhere.

I had the displeasure of staying here for a weekend conference in June 2015. We were booked for a regular king room for 2 nights.
After checking in we headed to our room and got spooked by a couple of people that appear to be. living there. Their kids’ tricycles and other toys littered the pool area. That’s always a huge red flag. Upon entering, we were greeted with a blast of hot air from the room. The a/​c was off and it appeared to be off for quite a while… days maybe, or maybe even weeks, who knows. That’s concerning because this is Florida, folks. Humidity is high and with the a/​c off like that the place is susceptible to mold growth. We turned on the A/​C (which is ridiculously loud) and briefly inspected the room. I noticed a few blood splotches on the comforter. A few yellow spots on it as well. Everything is extremely dated and the carpet is terribly stained and dirty. I doubt it’s cleaned regularly like it should be. There is a lack of power outlets in the room, none by the king bed (which wasn’t a king bed at all, rather two twins butted up next to each other). I ended up unplugging the TV just to accommodate all my devices as well as my partner’s devices. The clock was blinking the wrong time and not set correctly.
Touring the bathroom, I of course noticed how disgusting the toilet was. A water stain ring plus mildew growth around the rim. The floor had what appeared to be long pubic hairs or maybe leg hairs. There is no bathroom fan to speak of, even though it appears there was one. I had thought of leaving my review at 2 stars thinking to reserve 1-​star hotels for like.cockroaches. Unfortunately sometime during the night we had a cockroach enter the bathroom. Perhaps this hotel sprays often because we found it dead in the morning. I realize that these sort of things are common in Florida, but it’s still disgusting. Later that evening I found a small spider crawling around on our sheets and another one of the same species crawling on the desk that is situated next to the TV.
The in-​room amenities include a small coffee maker, ironing board with iron, hair dryer, etc. The coffee maker we ran hot water through and there were a lot of «floaty» type things in it. I doubt the thing is ever cleaned. Decided not to use it for actually making coffee. There is free Wi-​Fi, but I got a better connection through my tethered phone, especially in the evening.
The first stop other than the room itself was the Trio’s bar. Dated décor, very dive bar feeling… fit the area I suppose. We ordered some fries and mozzarella sticks. The bar tender on duty admitted to us to avoid the entrée’s on the menu. I should have taken that as a red flag and avoided the rest of the meals served here during the conference I was attending. What we received was a big greasy mess. It was disgusting and both my partner and I felt a little sick and sluggish for the next two days after this first «snack».
The first morning we were awoken by «Westminster Chimes». I don’t know where this came from outside, but given that we were waking up early, it didn’t bother us. Breakfast rolled around and I am assuming it was catered by the hotel. It had no water, creamer, stir sticks, salt, pepper, hot sauce– all these items were missing. Generally I expect orange juice for breakfast and have been served orange juice at every hotel I’ve ever been at. This one did not serve us orange juice (let alone water). Nothing was labeled. No one knew what was decaf and what was regular coffee. They stuck decaf coffee in what was assumed to be the creamer vessels. Then it was determined very quickly there was no cream! However there was sugar.
The food quality was well below average. The fruit served was borderline frozen, and the larger pieces of fruit were still frozen! The biscuits were cold and the scrambled eggs were soggy and barely warm. Overall it was one of the most disgusting breakfasts I’ve ever had. I picked at my meal and ended up leaving the rest because it tasted so terrible.
Lunch was a minor improvement. They finally had offered water. However no vegetarian dish was severed at all. It was lasagna, lasagna, and more lasagna. Then a side salad. I didn’t eat the lasagna so I can’t comment on the quality, but I did eat the side salad which was simply ice berg lettuce, two grape tomatoes, and a slice of onion and green pepper. It was OK. I briefly thought about not eating it because of the risk of salmonella, just from observing the quality of things in this hotel. I’m happy to report that nothing here made me overly sick (other than the greasy bar food).
Thankfully the final dinner banquet was catered by an outside caterer. So that wasn’t relevant to the hotel.
I was embarrassed for my fellow attendees as well as the guest speakers that were staying here. This place is filthy and needs a lesson in hospitality 101. I highly recommend that if you have standards like I do, stay away!

I have to give this motel only 2 stars because I stayed here this past week and they are under renovation. I booked this motel from
, and they never said anything about renovations. After traveling for several days in and out of motels I couldn’t wait to get here and relax at the lounge, have dinner in the Restaurant. Well when I got there I was told that the lounge & restaurant were closed due to renovations. Oh ! And your room is on the second floor but the elevator is around the others side so you have to drag your luggage up the stairs. This place must have been great back in the day or maybe in the near future after renovations. But right now not so much, I think for the inconvenience a refund should have been offered.

Regular hotel. Morning fancy but great value. The rooms were clean but no breakfast. Okay location, easy to get to everything. Staff was nice and fun little bar attached. Have stayed here twice now and would return.

We stayed for 5 nights. We didn’t have our room serviced until the last day. The workers removed our old water cups, but did not replace them with clean ones. They removed an empty toilet paper roll, but did not replace it with a new one. Fortunately, there are two rolls on the holder. They did not replenish the shampoo or the lotion. On our last night, we saw a large (1 inch, including the legs) black spider up in a corner the room. Surely they would have a can of insecticide. Nope. The receptionist’s calls to the TWO men who were supposed to be on call went unanswered. I had to climb onto the ottoman myself and try to smash it with a napkin. I went to the office to print my boarding pass. The computer did not communicate with the printer successfully. Now, three print jobs are pending. The bed was good. Old CRT television. The room was okay, except for the spider.

I came here every year for the past three years. My dog used to be free, the fee is now 15.00 per night. I used to pay 42. and change and now it is 62 and some change. I asked why the larger fees, and at first was told, and I quote, «Well it is Super Bowl Weekend!». Um, yeah if you were in New Orleans and then was finally told the place was under «New Management.» There arent any microwaves in the room and the room was filthy (I photographed the room and even moved furniture, which is something your maid service might want to do next time they clean a room).Oh and no continental breakfast, the television is old and the radio/​alarm was so dirty, I didn’t even want to touch it. The blow dryer has stuff growing out of the air vent…
Oh yes, the police were at the establishment (appear to have been at the bar) for some unknown reason and the manager (Judy, Julie, not sure of her name) showed up in her pajamas and was nasty to her staff in front of clients.
I always enjoyed staying here because it was close for me to do what I do while in New Port Richey, but after this experience, I wont ever return.

This is an okay hotel in the area. It’s older but the rooms have soft and comfortable beds. The TV is old and the remote control barely works so they should replace them ASAP. The pool is excellent and a great place to go for a swim. The continental breakfast is decent but not amazing, be sure to check out the «make your own waffle» machine.

Have stayed here a few times over the years. Basic accomodations. Soft bed. Has an attached restaurant. Pool. Prices reasonable. Free wireless. A continental bfast would definitely bring it more business.
