We specialize in In Home Private Instruction. In Home Private Instruction deals with your dogs behavior problems in their own environment, jumping on guests, barking, walking politely on a leash and many other behaviors. The training is one on one which gives you and your dog our undivided attention.

History

Established in 2007.

Joyce Moore Dog Training was established in 2007 after spending 4 years training at a national chain store. Joyce Moore wanted to be able to offer additional services such as in home private instruction. Before training dogs Joyce worked as a bird trainer and on a tv show as an animal wrangler. Her love for dogs prompted her to devote her life to training dogs in order to keep precious pets out of shelters.

Joyce runs Joyce Moore Dog Training, a positive reinforcement training program for dogs and their owners. No harsh methods are used on your pet when Joyce works with them; as she says herself, «I treat every dog as if it were my own.» She was born an animal lover with a special place in her heart for dogs. Worried that too many animals end up in shelters because of unwanted behaviors, and hoping to prevent this from happening, Joyce started the training program to help owners understand their pets.

Joyce is a AKC Certified Canine Good Citizens Evaluator and is very excited about her newest program the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Program. This is one of the many classes that will be offered at Camp K9.

Joyce has successfully trained thousands of dogs in the six years she’s been doing what she loves and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and Tampa Bay Animal Friendly Trainers. Before becoming a dog trainer, Joyce worked on the set of Second Noah as an animal wrangler, as a bird
