This is a wonderful place to go and enjoy a day. They have a workout track, fishing piers and playgrounds for kids. Great place to go and watch birds also.

Eagle Point Park is one of those little hidden treasures you find only if you explore. Its tucked away in the mangroves of New Port Richey all the way at the far west end of Trouble Creek Rd. This little park has quickly become one of my favorite places to workout. There is a small nature loop-trail(I would guess its a quarter to half a mile total.) There is also a fitness trail with 5 activity stations.(Stretching, sit-ups, dips, stair-stepping and pull-ups) If you dont want to workout. Bring the kids and just enjoy the outdoors. There are 3 piers for fishing, a playground, shelters and areas for grilling. To top it off, there is also a canoe/kayak launch. Parking is $ 2 on an honor system, but its totally worth it. I mean, seriously, thats minimal for such a great outdoor area. Go Outside! :)
