A Downtown landmark (est. 1997). Our name says it all. We specialize in Beef. Hot roast beef sandwiches, ½ lb. angus burgers, Philly cheesesteaks (the meat, cheese & Amorosa rolls are from Philly).
Choice steaks cut on premises are a staple of our dinner entrees.
The remainder of our menu includes favorites such as Seared Tuna, Lemon Chicken Asparagus and Salmon Florentine. Homemade soups, salads and a Lighter side section with some vegan selections are also available. Sunday Brunch from 9 – 2 with many Benedict options.
We also have a full liquor bar (Happy Hour M-F 3 – 7) and a large covered patio
Catering for small or large groups is available for up to 100 people.
History
Established in 1997.
Opened with only 10 seats in a small bar area with a limited menu and a beer and wine license. All food was cooked to order behind the bar for your viewing pleasure. Sorry we do not serve fried food. That was NOT popular back then.
A year later a 50 seat dining room was added, still cooking all orders in full view behind the bar. Many dinners were added to our menu. Sorry, we still did not serve fried food.
In the next 10 years we met the economic challenges of 9 – 11, non smoking laws, a recession and no French Fries. Thankfully, our regular
customers were loyal and their doctors were telling them don’t eat fried foods.
With the help of those regulars and many groups that scheduled meetings, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners and Christmas parties, we added to our building one more time. In 2008, our 75 seat covered patio along with a full bar was our most recent improvement.
Yes, all food is still cooked to order in front of you. Our burgers are still served without fries.
