My son is 2 months old and he has been seeing Dr. Desai since he was born. She is always kind and gentle with him as well as being very informative with any questions we may have. The waiting room and exam offices are always clean and I’ve never seen more than a few children waiting to be seen at a time. The staff is friendly and courteous. I’m surprised at some of these reviews. But it seems they’ve made improvements. We’ve never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to be seen and I can’t think of one complaint.

The office staff is very disorganized and the waiting room is always over crowded. We took our newborn there and had to protect her from hoards of middle school aged children running around. When we finally switched pediatricians it was very difficult to obtain the release form to transfer her information to the new doctor’s office. Glad to be done with them.

WOW. I am surprised that there are no other reviews for this pediatrician’s office. My wife and I live in New Port Richey, roughly 5 minutes away from A to Z’s office. My wife and I wish we were 5 hours away so it wouldn’t have been a convenience and made the choice. I looked their office up when we were planning on having our daughter, and scheduled a consult with Dr. Lokesh. He was nice and decided to take our daughter there. The very first visit, my wife and I arrive at the doctor’s office. This is when it starts to go downhill. The receptionist looks at me(which I must say, I present very well) and asks me for my ‘Gold Card’. Unfamiliar with what she’s asking, she rephrases and asks for my Medicaid Welfare card. I was immediately offended, and stated that I’m not a ‘welfare case’. Didn’t even get an apology. On top of that, they have coded her visits incorrectly with the insurance company(wow, I actually pay for my children’s health care, lol) and trying to charge me money. She’s completely covered under my insurance! As for the doctor, he’s nice, but good luck in getting an appointment with him. The doctor may be good, but the staff and infrastructure of this office is definitely sub-par. They have trashy young girls working the front desk covered in tattoos and don’t know how to speak proper English. If you’re looking for an upstanding pediatrician for your child and not some welfare office, look elsewhere! We are.
