Specialties
Vieux Carre Fine Art Gallery is the French Quarter’s leading destination for collectors of Impressionist art. We predominantly display the work of New Orleans artist Sarah Stiehl, who is renowned for her ability to capture the unique textures and light of the city. Stiehl uses her signature lively brushstrokes to depict New Orleans’ most loved sights– from the bold, brassy sunlight on a Second Line parade to the deep, ethereal shadows of the Louisiana bayou. She has also created an eye-popping, mixed-media modern series by featuring abstracted figures of joyous musicians and dancing ladies. These works on paper are sought after for their rich and vibrant colors. Hand-embellished, limited edition giclees and prints are also available. The high quality of the art work found at Vieux Carre Fine Art Gallery is unrivaled by other French Quarter galleries, making it the destination for collectors interested in obtaining a new piece of fine art to treasure.
