Jim Perrier, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, founded Universal Data in 1982 in hopes of becoming one of the leading Word Processing companies. At the time, when companies were naming their business’ after core products, Jim wanted to be able to adapt for change, but rather he had a bigger picture: «Delivering World Class Service in an ever changing industry»; thus the creation of Universal Data Inc. Today, Universal Data is the oldest IT solutions provider in New Orleans and is ranked in the the top 1% of technology companies in North America based on our deep technical expertise and premier certifications.
