The Remedy Room

not so sure. any place where I get overly attentive customer service I am leary of. the medical assessment– history and physical that I paid $ 50 (no fees discussed in advance — do ask them) was less than cursory, kinda was «if you want to pay $ 249 today for a bag of water and vitamins and let us surround you with niceness… we’ll happily take your money»
for me, no appreciable difference was noted in my overall feeling of health that day or days after

The remedy room is simply AMAZING!!! Dr. Mary and her staff are wonderful. I had the hangover package and before I was half way done I felt 100% better and had so much energy. If your are starting to feel sick or you wake up to a hangover GO TO THE REMEDY ROOM!

Went in feeling pretty ill. I opted for a full treatment with IV bag and additional shots. 2 hours later I felt my symptoms had noticeably declined and my energy was even above normal. I plan on going back anytime I feel sickness coming on.

This was my first experience with infusion therapy and I am sold!
Living in Calgary which is incredibly dry I have no doubt that I am down about a liter despite the vast amount of water I consume every day.
I found the clinic online while planning a trip to New Orleans and knew I would have to give it a try. We were in town to attend a music festival and being New Orleans the possibility of overindulging is always there and well, its called The Remedy Room.
Believe it or not I was a good girl and did not consume too much alcohol. Truth be told it had more to do with it being cold and drinking beer and being cold really don’t go together for me. Also the more beer you drink the more you need the port-a-potty…again not ideal.
I was able to book appointments online which was really easy and very convenient. The day of our appointments we went a bit early as we knew there would be some paperwork and a consult with the Dr. The paperwork turned out to be on mini ipads and again was super easy and the nurses were really great. Very friendly and made you feel very comfortable. The Dr. is very energetic and very passionate about what she does and she has sold me on the use of vitamin C. Although the gel version she suggested has taken some getting used to as it isn’t nearly as palatable as the effervescent variety. I loved that she came in with her sugar skull face paint on as she had just come from her daughter’s school and it was afterall Halloween.
The clinic is a nice airy open space with a variety of seating options for your treatment. Getting set up was quick and painless. The nurses are very skilled and I had no discomfort or bruising. The little heat packs are a really nice perk and made things that much more comfortable. The eyeshades we were given (to keep) are the best eyeshades I’ve ever had and I got very close to being completely out it was just that comfortable. My husband was caught napping, just a little.
We both did a bag with vitamin C and our trace minerals. As we weren’t actually suffering from a hangover we didn’t need to full recovery session with anti-​nausea and pain meds but how awesome is it that that is available! Our second treatment my hubby also did a steroid to help with the cold he was battling.
The clinic is located within walking distance of The Garden District so its a pretty great neighbourhood to spend some time wandering around and admiring some pretty beautiful homes and properties. It also turns out that a certain celebrity lives in the area and came in for a treatment as well. Darn near didn’t even realize it was her but wow was she sweet and let me know I had left my headphones behind. She drives a really sweet classic T-​Bird too.
There are a few holistic clinics in Calgary that offer this treatment as well and we will be checking them out. Although I know without a doubt they won’t be any where near as much fun as The Remedy Room but not everyone can be this awesome and in New Orleans. Definitely a place we will go back to because everyone can use some hydration and the folks at The Remedy Room are fantastic.

I love the remedy room. I was not sure what it was going to be like but when I went there I was so impressed. They are very professional and at the same time understand that you want to get in and out as quickly as possible.
I have been three times now and everytime I feel so much better than when I went in. Perfect cure for a hangover.

Every time I visit The Remedy Room, I leave feeling spectacular!
Now, I have never visited with a horrendous hangover… Yet… But I can imagine I’d feel spectacular then as well! The first time I visited was after my knee surgery; I was feeling the onset of a cold/​flu and didn’t want to get completely and utterly sick. I got an IV with a ton of vitamin C, went to bed early that evening, and my symptoms cleared up within a day!
I have gotten several IVs since then, and always leave feeling refreshed. An added benefit: all the extra hydration makes your skin look fantastic! After each IV, I’ve had several friends ask me if I got a facial that day… Because apparently I’m luminous! Feeling healthier AND looking better? Win-​win!
I’m only giving four stars just because the price points here are high. An IV is $ 150ish, and I realize that isn’t very convenient for most people. I’ve only been able warrant spending that because I will get an IV in leu of a monthly facial (in my mind it’s a 2 for 1 deal). The B12 shots are quick and cheap, though, and at $ 20 a pop, I’ll stop in for a quick pick me up most weekends.
The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting (somewhat like a spa relaxation area), and all the ladies who work at The Remedy Room are quite efficient and wonderful. Overall I’m quite happy to have this new business in town!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at the Remedy room. They are the real deal, extremely professional, thorough, and caring all at once. I work in healthcare so I have high standards. These guys fixed me when I came down with a virus on my wedding day! I’ll be forever grateful to them for their service and allowing me to feel great and enjoy the remainder of my wedding weekend.

Great service from staff. All were professional and helpful. Facility is very clean and orderly.
Went there for dehydration and headache. Actually slept towards the end. When I left I was feeling new. Fresh.

awesome experience! new orleans finally has a progressive, fresh alternative to traditional medicinal healthcare! infusion therapy is a great way to fend off ailments and be proactive with your healthcare. and it makes you feel great afterwards! :-)

**And finally the a walk in clinic enters the 21^st century**… this was such an incredible experience for me. A drama free clinic for when I was feeling run down. Seriously simple experience, streamlined to get me back to my day. — and the bonus– the Dr. is as stylish as the décor. 5– stars plus one for common sense.
Totally recommend if you are feeling the flu blues and need a pick me up– i haven’t done the hang over remedy (yet) but was impressed by the set up (visually) and the simplicity. It is a genius idea for a city like New Orleans… not feeling well=come here.
