I feel really bad giving this place 2 stars because the woman working there was very nice to us. This poor review is only because this place was rated as being $ when in reality it should be closer to $$$. Now I can only speak for the dry cleaning because that’s all we went in for, but when we walked in with just 3 shirts to be dry cleaned the total came to $ 21, I was expecting something closer to $ 10 being that it’s rated $.

I was recently walking the streets of New Orleans when BAM my beautiful, handmade Oaxacan purse gave in to the pressures of hauling around my NOLA bounty. The strap broke, and as if on cue, it started raining :(
I walked a block down Bourbon looking for a store when I looked up and saw this cute little laundromat and walked in to ask if they had any safety pins for sale and the awesome woman folding neat piles of clothes (the owner?) said no… but she had some I could have!
It was so nice to find a helping hand in the middle of my mini crisis. Thanks again for your help!

Dina is so nice!!! I texted her for a pickup yesterday and within 20 minutes she was at my house and picked up my laundry. She’s super sweet and friendly and honest! She dropped my laundry off this morning and it was all folded and put together nicely. The prices for pickup and delivery are very fair. I work 3rd shift so it’s hard to juggle my sleep schedule with errands and chores that I need to get done. Knowing that there is a laundromat that delivers/​picks up and is fast, professional and honest is such a life saver!!! I highly recommend this business whether you’re just in town visiting or you live here. You won’t regret it! :)

Visiting New Orleans for work, needed to do some laundry as the hotel dry cleaning prices were ridiculous. Found «Suds» on Unilocal and thought I’d give it a try. Fantastic place, mainly because of the owner, Dina, who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. You can either do your own laundry or Dina will do it for you ($ 3 per pound of laundry). She’ll clean, dry and fold for you and you can come back to pick up.
Dina is happy to recommend nearby eats or engage in fun conversation about life, New Orleans, etc. As crazy as the street scene is in the French Quarter the laundromat is located on a quiet corner on Bourbon Street (cross street is Ursaline). All in all a terrific experience. I highly recommend it!

Found this place via Unilocal and what an excellent find it was! Never thought I’d write a review for a laundromat but here we are. We were traveling and needed to do our laundry stat. However after realising it would cost nearly 130 dollars (???) to do it through our hotel, we ended up trying this place and the lovely woman who runs it had our laundry washed and pressed and back to us within half a day! Only costs $ 3 per pound!

So everyone knows the outrageous prices a hotel charges for laundry. Like $ 3 for a pair of socks $ 6 a reg tshirt etc you get my point! Well we always travel with Kids usually our 3 and my husband that makes a ton of dirty smelly laundry to have just sitting (eww lol). I thought about paying but at the end of hotel price it’ll be like $ 300 at least. So got on handy Unilocal and found this AMAZING place. I went to check it out first to see how clean it was etc and it was wayyy beyond my expectations!!! Super clean place $ 3 per pound and Dina the owner is super helpful and friendly, she even offers delivery to your hotel for an extra $ 10 so worth it omg!!! We have used her twice and I don’t think anyone can fold clothes as perfect as her. Our clothe was deliver so perfectly folded and vacuum sealed.

Who reviews a laundromat, right? Well, if anything can make doing laundry more enjoyable for me then it’s worth mentioning…
Ms. Suds (the owner, as I affectionately call her) was so sweet, so accommodating, and so nice to talk to about all things local. We made the trek there on the streetcar since there’s no laundry in our hotel or nearby. While our loads were washing, Ms. Suds recommended an excellent place for lunch around the corner. If you’re in town for a while and run out of clean underwear, GO HERE! Machines were quick and plentiful on the day we were there. If we’re ever back in NOLA I’ll look forward to visiting Ms. Suds again!

Five Stars all the way! Great service! My husband was on an extended trip in NOLA. After a few days of playing around on Bourbon Street and walking during the day when it’s as hot as Hades, he was running out of clothes fast. The hotel charged ridiculous fees that I’m not going to even address.
I searched and found SUDS DEM DUDS. It was close, so we dropped off the laundry and had it delivered back to the hotel. When I tell you that those clothes were the freshest, cleanest, most perfectly folded I’ve seen done by a professional. You can do your own laundry too, but we didn’t want to waste time doing laundry while on VACAY.
When we return, we will definitely do it again! Worth it. I believe 8 pounds of laundry, we dropped off, she delivered was $ 30. Like I said, WORTH IT!

Traveling with a family of five to NOLA and we generated lots of laundry. I was not looking forward to spending vacation time in a laundromat while everyone else had fun so I called this place. Woman was lovely being both friendly and professional. Laundry was picked up from my hotel, washed and delivered back within a few hours. Payment and exchange was easy and efficient. I paid $ 3.00 per pound. If my boys didn’t wear heavy cargo shorts it would have been a much lower total at that rate. Very pleased with the quality and service.

Cant find words for That! I am on vacation in New Orleans and was looking for a wash salon! I found this one on Unilocal and decided to give it a try! The lady was super polite and explained everything! In the end I decided to leave my 30 pounds of dirty clothes there and she would bring it back to the hotel because we wanted to go to a swamp tour :)
When we came back and got the clothes from the lobby we were absolutely speachless! I have never seen clothes so perfectly put together! She even washed the clothes of my 4 month old son with special stuff without any perfume and extra sensitive! Between the clothes was a little notice of her with some nice words :) so adorable! Thank You for this Perfect Service!!! This lady would be a reason to move here :)

I read about this place on Unilocal last night, called this morning, had my laundry picked up within 30 minutes of my call and returned just a few hours later! It was folded so nicely and compactly that I hated to unfold it! We were here in the French Quarter for a week and have two weeks to go on this trip. We had planned to go and do it ourself. I looked at Unilocal to see if I could find a laundromat and read the great reviews on Unilocal for this place. Thank you Unilocal and Suds Dem Duds!

This is THE place for a quick and clean Wash & Fold. We were staying at the Roosevelt and they want $ 7 for EACH t-​shirt and that doesn’t include any undies. Those are ridiculous hotel prices that I refuse to pay. Suds Dem Duds had our clothes laundered and folded in the time it takes to complete a St. Louis Cemetery walking tour! The lady working the counter was friendly and super helpful. We paid $ 24 for 12 shirts, 12 undies, 12 pairs of socks, & 2 pairs of pants. Love Dem Duds!

Free pickup and delivery, and $ 10 for the first 5 pounds of laundry ($ 2 per pound after that). If you have less than 5 pounds, you pay the minimum, $ 10. Credit cards accepted.
Much cheaper than the competitor down the street, fast service, and way cheaper than a hotel service, give these guys a shot. 5 stars, Gloria!
