This is one of the worst clinics I have ever been too. I started having problems back in December getting a prescription for medicine. I had to call the office at least 12 times to get the prescription. I even changed pharmacies in the hopes that the RX would go through. I was called several times by the nurse to confirm RX and where it was going. Would go to the pharmacy and still not there. Had to call again just to receive a call saying that the did not have an RX for a medicine that I wasn’t even calling about. I also recently went to GYNO, got there 15 minutes early. I was waiting so long (almost an hour) that I came out of my room to be asked how long it would take. The Gyno gave me a really dirty look and told me she would be right with me. When I asked the Dr. about Hormone issues, she didn’t do blood work, but just suggested I changed birth control. She spent only about five minutes with me. I really felt like she wasn’t concerned at all about my issues. I also was told that I needed to see the GI Dr at LSU, and they sent a referral a year ago. I was told it would take 14 – 16 months to get in. Well got a call today that the referral expired and I would have to come in again. I feel like this happens a lot when I have questions or need refills, they want me to come see the DR again. I haven’t been able to find another clinic because I am uninsured, but If I do I guarantee that I will NEVER go back to this clinic.

So I have to give them five stars. Whenever there’s s nice and highly amazing place in general, I judge
I was looking for something wrong with this place but I couldn’t find not one. The process ran so smoothly. I walked in and I was acknowledged immediately by staff. I had to sign papers so I got mad at that. The funny thing is that the paperwork helped me in the long room. Btw they let you know about costs, payment plans, etc. I turned in my check stub and they adjusted the price based on my income. (Thanks st. thomas), (oops did I tell you honey chile this place is right off magazine street. The doctor was impeccable! They treated me better than the ER.

I’ve been in New Orleans over 4 years and have just gotten around to setting up a doctor! I’m glad I picked St. Thomas! I’m very picky about my medical care providers and the staff at St. Thomas did not disappoint. The center was clean and orderly. The people at the front desk were friendly, fast, and helpful. Nursing staff were friendly and thorough. The doctor was also wonderful and spent a lot of time talking to me about my medical history and any concerns I might have! I’m glad to have found a great Doctors office so near my home!

Scheduled an appointment for 7:30 and I got there are at 7:32, filled out all the paperwork and gave them my insurance card. I went up to the front desk around 8:00 to see when they would see me, they said they were waiting for my insurance to process. (Why wouldn’t you just ask for my insurance information the day before to avoid this issue?) At 8:20 I told them I had to leave for work and right at that moment they told me «oh yeah your insurance went through.»

This is a wonderful alternative to community clinics. Why? Pretty simple; they run it like a traditional doctor’s office and not like society mavens from a Dickens novel doing their bit to be charitable at the workhouse for the poor and destitute.
They respect your time, take appointments, and the staff is patient and friendly. They accept those with and without insurance. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and am happy to recommend their services!

They accept anyone as a patient, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. They will help you fill out all the paperwork you may need to apply for public assistance.
Everyone I’ve dealt with there is professional, helpful, and friendly.
And the lady who takes your blood is a pro. BANG! She gets in and out like a ninja vampire! Seriously, I hate having blood drawn, but she was stunning at her job. To top it off, I barely got a bruise.
