Razzle Dazzle

Customer service goes a long way, especially in this town!!! Unfortunately, Razzle Dazzle, in that department, you are seriously lacking!!! When your employees rather talk to each other than acknowledge a customer’s existence, do not be surprised when they walk out of the store and buy nothing when they were prepared to make a huge purchase! Sorry, your loss! And the thing is, New Orleans is a small town and people talk…

Great little store and love the items! Would definitely recommend this store for any knock knacks.

DO NOT VISIT THIS SHOP
Don’t get me wrong this is a beautiful store. I was is just before Mardi gras and found some really great items. Then I saw this amazing boots! the sales people I was working with we’re so nice. We went to the back shoe room to try a few pairs on and when we found the perfect pair the sales lady took me to the front to pay for all my selections. Along the way another sales person saw a piece of jewelry I was wearing showed us another piece they had that would match perfectly. It was an amazing experience.
That is until I got to the till. The lady running the till (brunette) looked at the box of boots and said. Size 10? I said yes? She then called to the sales person that had been helping me and had moved on to another client asking is that the last pair of black? The lady said yes?
The brunette proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t sell them to me. They where samples. She would have more in 2 – 3 weeks. I said I was from Canada and could she ship me a pair and she said she wouldn’t do that. The fact that they came in red and blue in size 10 didn’t seem to matter she did not want me to have the black.
I have worked in sales my whole life and I have never seen anyone shut down a sale so completely. I didn’t get to buy anything I had selected I stood there with my mouth open in shock until my husband pulled me out of the shop. I was shocked and a little stunned by how rude the woman was, I thought oh my I wonder if the owner know how horrible the women is to clients and staff. I thought I would do some research on the company and try to contact the owner.
Unfortunately it seems SHE IS THE OWNER!!!
So I have only one thing to say as warning shop at you own risk and don’t like anything too much because if she likes it more she may not let you have it.

Love the store but the owner is extremely rude and comes off pompous. Kind the «if you don’t like it don’t shop here» attitude.

Some great holiday decorations. This is one of my favorite stops in the French Quarter. They have the coolest window displays, especially around the holidays. Great place to take photos.

Razzle Dazzle is a shop filled with a glittering, over-​the-​top mix of Mardi Gras masks, gaudy costume jewelry and assorted metallic home décor objects. Normally I don’t care for such a place but their middle room has a good assortment of well made New Orleans and fleur-​de-​lis themed Christmas ornaments. Their back room is a great place to find gifts for ladies aged 50 – 70 who love animal prints (think zebra print reading glass, leopard print gardening trowels and tiger print calculators) and bawdy cocktail napkins.

Love Love Love this store especially for Christmas shopping. They have got the most unique selection of ornaments. They’ve also got beautiful fun holiday jewelry, can’t wait to go back!

Thank you dirty linen for giving me the opportunity and need to check out this store! What drew me in was their wonderful window display featuring an enchanted forest/​garden. I liked that they carried jewelry, shoes, dried dips and mixes and drink dispensers. I will definitely come back when i have more time and there are less people roaming the store.

Cute store!!! The ladies are super friendly and the things they carry varies from jewelry to wine stoppers to doggie clothes. Some things are a little pricey but definitely a place to check out if you are nearby.
