My AC went out on Memorial Day, and I contacted Première AC & Heating. A gentleman by the name of Carl came out within 30min or less.
He was very curteous and he took the time to explain everything to me. I am very happy with the Première experience, and my AC is working perfectly. I would definitely recommend Première.

Wonderful customer service! Gerard called to keep me posted on his arrival time and then arrived right when he said he would. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and alerted me to other things that may need to be addressed in the future, but said they weren’t urgent. His number is permanently saved in my phone and I’m so grateful for finding these guys!

Four days and no call back. I think I’ll take my business elsewhere. You need to have people answer the phone and not just use an answering service. Especially if it takes you days and days to call people back.
It’s silly. You’re not the only game in town.

I don’t have much experience hiring heating and cooling people, but this was my experience:
First the repair man was over an hour late. This may have been due to some communication problems, but then I called the office and the receptionist said she didn’t do the scheduling or have any records of it (which makes me wonder what the receptionist is for).
Second, the dude charged me $ 85 to blow out a PVC pipe. Don’t know how much that’s supposed to cost, but it took about 10 minutes.
Third, it didn’t fix the problem and the dude left.
Fourth, they haven’t returned my calls since.
UPDATE: The owner/​manager read my review on Unilocal and called to make a personal apology. This really meant a lot to me. I couldn’t really give them more than 3 stars because I had to have another guy fix the a/​c problem so I don’t know if a different mechanic would have done a better job. But thank you for owning the problem!

PHENOMENAL SERVICE! Don’t bother looking anywhere else to fix your heating and a/​c — they are the best. They came out on a Sunday evening to work on my A/​C. Jerard is SUPER knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful. He is also just an amazingly kind human being. He will stay and sweat in your attic for hours to fix your unit. He is a saint, and he seriously needs a facebook fan page. My particular unit needed both a new control panel and a new motor, and Jerard was able to figure out the problem because he investigated all the possible problems instead of simply recommending a new unit (saving me a ton). I love him.

Woke this morning at 8am with no heat. Called Premier and 2 hours later they show up and fix the problem. Phillip told me that the circuit board is going bad. He was able to temporarily fix it. He will. locate the new circuit board for us and call us tomorrow.
Super friendly very professional and super fast.
FYI this is going on during the Nola ice storm that is about to start. Thank god for Premier.

I would highly recommend this company for your AC and heating needs. Our heater was giving us problems and they came out the same day and diagnosed the problem. It was fixed the next day for a very reasonable price. Jerard was very nice and friendly.

Heaters are an afterthought in New Orleans. The oppressive heat and humidity throughout the year see to that. On those first few days that it’s actually cold enough to turn one on, you’re probably outside in your underwear yelling «Yes! Finally!» Then, a few hours later, you discover that it’s really, really cold and that you have no winter clothes because, I mean, you live in New Orleans. «What is this winter you speak of?» So, you start layering up with everything you’ve got, and crank up the heater. Only, this time, the heater laughs in your face and spews more cold air. It’s time to call the professionals before you become an ice cube.
Who you gonna call? Première A/​C & Heating. These guys will have your heater blowing enough hot air to fill an entire prime time segment on Fox News. Jerard knows his stuff. I have an old gas fired wall heater that had decided it was not going to function anymore. Jerard came out, diagnosed the problem, procured a new part and had that heater up and running in under 2 hours. A pleasant experience all around. I would highly recommend Première for any HVAC issue that comes your way.

We contacted Jerard from Premier Air Conditioning and Heating when we needed to replace our old wall unit.
He came over quickly to assess the situation and spent quite a bit of time talking to us about what we wanted and taking measurements. He didn’t charge us for the visit, and he informed us that because the size of the opening in our wall was unusual, he would need to do a little research to find the best unit to fit our needs.
He updated us daily over the two days that it took to find the right unit for us, and installed it with his co-​worker Aaron on the third day.
We especially appreciated his thoughtful assessment of our needs, his honest recommendations, and his easy availability by phone. In every way, Jerard is professional, thorough, and reliable.

My ac unit went out on a Sunday in August! I called Jerard (the owner) at 9:00 a.m. and he came within a few hours. He was efficient, super nice, and his prices are really reasonable. He gave me a great deal on cleaning both of my units along with reasonable repair costs. I will definitely use him in the future, and I give him my highest recommendation. As the other reviewer said, he is knowledgeable and accommodating.

I would give my highest recommendation to Première! As you can imagine, having my A/​C break in 96 degree heat in New Orleans was quite horrifying. Not knowing until 6pm after work was even worse, as I was thinking about the long, hot night ahead.
After calling one service that would charge me $ 95 just to drive to my house, I called Première. Thank goodness I did! Jerard came out within 30 minutes of my call just to see if the repair was something minor he could fix right away. He didn’t charge me for the consultation at all. Unfortunately, he couldn’t see an easy solution, but he came back the next day promptly and worked for about 3 hours, fixed the problem, cleaned the unit, changed out my thermostat and was so pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. And he gave me an unbeatable deal on all the work! It wasn’t much more than the other company would have charged just to drive over.
Do yourself a favor and call Jerard at Première with any troubles, and at least once a year to clean your unit (I’ve learned my lesson)! It’s money well spent!

Premier A/​C rocks! They got my air cooling again the same day for a very reasonable price and on a Sunday no less. Jerard could not have been more helpful, knowledgable and professional. He has definitely raised the bar for the level of service I will now come to expect. I will definitely be using Première A/​C for all my future heating and cooling needs.
