Neighborhood bar and Music Venue in the heart of the Treme, New Orleans
History
Established in 2013.
Our Bar is dedicated to the memory of Jesse Hill, Ms. Judy’s Father. His smash hit Ooh Poo Pah Doo sold over 800,000 copies and has been covered by some of the best musicians in the world. Some of his other songs were recorded by Ike and Tina Turner, Sonny and Cher, and Willie Nelson. His legacy lives on with an extended family including James «Satchimo of the Getto» Andrews, Troy «Trombone Shorty» Andrews and Travis «Trumpet Black» Hill.
