Great snoballs when open. They change hours before closing in October but rarely stay open to the time they say they will! Disappointed again last night as I got there at 10 till six and they were closed already and gone. Oh well I guess it’s just a snoball but at least follow your own open and close sign times!

I’m not a snoball connoisseur, but I’ve seen better. It does have a good variety of flavors and other treats like ice cream and nachos. But the place itself does not have the drabby charm that a great New Orleans snoball stand needs to have. That said, if you are in Lakeview and need a snoball, you will get your fix here.

Best snoballs in Lakeview. I judge snoball stand by its nectar cream with condensed milk. Never going to be Hansen’s, but ice is pretty soft maybe little too sweet but still tasty. Generous with the condensed milk too.

Decided to try this place out since it’s right around the corner from my house and I don’t always feel like driving uptown to Hansen’s. Not a huge selection of flavors but it’s still pretty good. If ur in the lakeview area or nearby though and ur lookin for a decent sno ball, this place will work. My only issue is the cleanliness. The girl making my sno ball and my friends wiped all the juices on the side of the cup with her shirt. Yuck!

The original Snow Ball! The owners were there when I visited. They shared their vision with my husband and I as well as encouraged us to sample some of their many unique flavors. During our chat they shared that they also go mobil for special events, weddings and company socials. What a great way to share a frozen cup of yum! I will make Nola Snow a regular treat when visiting New Orleans.

4.5 stars I do love Nola Snow. The owners, Rudy & MiMi, are all about New Orleans. The staff is always friendly and if they aren’t too busy, they’ll answer questions about nearly every single flavor on the menu if you are having a hard time deciding on which flavor to get. Today, we opted to get 2 kiddie sizes so that we could try 2 different flavors(all in the interests of Unilocaling about it). The first flavor was yellow cake batter and I ain’t kidding when I tell you that if you close your eyes and use your imagination, you’d swear you were a kid again and licking the cake batter from your momma’s spatula. Well, almost! The 2nd flavor we ordered was cream ice cream. Since they were nearly out of this flavor the snowball server made a fresh bottle using their secret syrup and mixing it with evaporated milk. It was awesome, and the evaporated milk gave the syrup a cream like consistency & taste. With consistent great flavors and great service, this is my go to snowball stand; especially since they have 2 locations in Lakeview. The only reason I give them 4.5 instead of 5 stars is that sometimes, the ice can be a little coarse and not completely velvety smooth. However, I have yet to try a flavor that I have not liked. But for the record NOLA nectar is the best!

That fine fine snowball ice and a decent amount of flavors. Operates during the warm months. Enjoyed a roat beer float once. The soft serve isn’t my favorite though because it’s not the creamiest out there. I like that this place is in walking distance from my house. They gave out free snowballs at the Night Out Against Crime which was cool. I met the owner during the event, and he noted that he had been making snowballs for a lifetime. The flavors were intense. I look forward to another root beer float in the future.

Yummy snowballs! Lots of juice and extras if you ask. They don’t cheat me on the condensed milk either :) Love the flavors!

By far, the BEST snoballs anywhere! The cheapest prices in town too.

Nola Snow is great if you’re in the area and don’t feel like driving or waiting somewhere else, and they have a pretty good flavor selection, and their prices are very fair. However, their ice can be a little bit chunky, so sometimes you have to «chew» your snoball a little bit. Overall not bad though.

Drive to Plum Street or stay around here for NOLA Snow. I’d probably stay and get NOLA Snow. A small little place similar to Plum Street Snowballs, you can’t go wrong with the shaved ice here. I think it’s a bit cheaper than Plum Street too. You can’t go wrong with the NOLA Nectar. My buddie and I each had 2 snowballs a piece!!! It was like 100’F and HOT though!!! And for $ 1.50, you can’t go wrong! This place rocks and the service was good. I’d probably walk over to this place everyday I lived in that neighborhood!
