I am very disappointed with this landlord. My partner and I were good tenants for 3 years and never paid rent late. We did not cause any damage to the apartment besides normal wear and tear; however, we were only refunded 70% of our security deposit. We requested itemized receipts for any repairs made to the apartment that were allegedly caused by us, yet we have not been given receipts. We had to argue with him several times for money that is rightfully ours.
RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! You will either have to forgo the return of your security deposit or fight tooth and nail to get at least part of it back. I have heard stories from other tenants that had similar problems.
