James C. Lawrence, Jr. is the founder of J.C. Lawrence and Associates, LLC and has represented clients in private practice since 1984. With his background as a public defender and 33-​years of trial experience, Mr. Lawrence is a consummate legal professional who can represent clients in a wide variety of legal matters.

As a New Orleans criminal defense attorney, Mr. Lawrence defends clients facing state and federal criminal charges, traffic matters and DWI or DUI cases. He has argued cases before the appellate courts and Louisiana Supreme Court and successfully handled both state and federal appeals.

Mr. Lawrence also litigates civil cases on behalf of his clients.
