History

Established in 2010.

The historic Jackson Brewery building was built in 1891 and once housed the largest brewery in the South. Reclaimed materials, wood and metals are used throughout to create Jackson Brewery Bistro Bar-Jax Nola.

Jackson Brewery Bistro Bar was created by local Louisianians with the design of B3 Designs, London, UK. The multipurpase space reflects the area’s rich musical and entertainment culture as well as its diverse history.

Marrying the richness of days past with modern technology, this space allows visitors and locals to enjoy visiting and dining with live entertainment ranging from a single cellist to a large brass band.
