Grandad’s General Store

This store sells a large amount of café dumonde related products. There are many offerings that are in this store which are not available for sale at their cafes. Prices for most things are reasonable.
I was interested in a hooded sweater they were selling for about 39 dollars. Since it was so expensive, I wanted to feel the quality of the sweater and how thick it is. However the cashier gave me an attitude as soon as soon as I flipped the taped package over to the taped side. She refused to offer any assistance to show me the sweater. They do not have any samples to show apparently and do not want to even open the packae and let you feel one seam which would not even take more than a minute or distort the folded orientation of the sweater. I don’t know how they would expect anyone to plop down 39 bux without feeling the quality of the merchandise.

I think this is like unofficial/​official store for Café du Monde if you want a better assortment of Café du Monde memorabilia. It’s right across the street from the famous establishment but is not open ²⁴⁄₇ (check hours before coming). They got some nice T-​shirts – I had to pick one up.

This place was very cheap compared to other stores that were selling Café Du Monde merchandise. They were very, very kind, patient, and helpful! If you’re buying Café Du Monde souvenirs and other food products this pkace is a must!

If you want to buy Café Du Monde coffee, come this store.
My plan was buy it from the Café but ridiculous waiting line at cold cold weather. Checked the price and went out and got into this store. It is right across the street of Café Du Monde and the most importantly (?), this store’s price is same as Café and the least expensive ever!
I bought ‘Coffee and Chicory’ for $ 6.70.
Other places I saw $ 7.99−9.99. OMG so much higher mark ups.
As well as other can Café Du Monde coffees and Beignet Mix.
Same products less money! Hurray!
They also ship the product all over the US. You will get catalog along with purchase.

This is one of the official Café du Monde’s stores. If you want to buy beignet mixes or their coffees I’d buy them here as the prices are better. The store is located directly across the street from the café itself.

Stopped by to get some beignet mix and picked up some beautiful silver la fleur pieces and jewerly. I love the atmosphere of an old general store and lay out

Open 7 days a week, you can pick up mugs, apparel, books, food, totes… you name it, it’s here.
Don’t want to wait in the long line at Café Du Monde for their famous coffee and French doughnuts? Don’t worry, here you can pick up some canned coffee and beignet mix and make them when you go home. Forgot to get your grandma a gift and you are leaving today? Grab an apron with their signature logo and box up a couple of kitchen towels with it. You can even get a sugar shaker and napkin holder to bring home with you.
I can’t think of a better place to purchase all of your Café Du Monde chotchkies.
