History
Established in 2009.
Gators and Ghosts was started by Charlotte in 2009 with just a table, a few brochures, and a little bit of tape. Leonard Crist came on board in April 2013. For a long time we were known by our address, 500 Bourbon Street Tour Company. Along with the debut of a new website, we re-branded our business as Gators & Ghosts: A New Orleans Tour Company in June 2015. Same family run, locally owned business, new name!

Leonard C.
Business Owner
Charlotte Crist and her nephew Leonard are part of an old jazz family in the French Quarter (Charlotte’s great grandfather and his son taught jazz legend Pete Fountain).
Charlotte started this business at 500 Bourbon Street in 2009 with an eye towards quality tours and customer satisfaction, and that continues to this day! After an extensive career in the tourism industry here and in Key West, Charlotte came back to my home city to help economically rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.
Leonard was born in Louisiana but grew up near Youngstown, Ohio. After earning a degree in journalism and working for newspapers for a bit, Leonard moved to New Orleans in April 2013 to begin a new adventure.
Together, they look forward to providing you with a magical New Orleans encounter.
