I am a Louisiana succession attorney based in the New Orleans, Louisiana, area. I handle uncontested Louisiana successions, as well as contested estate matters and estate litigation. My practice includes simple to complex trust and estate conflict resolution and litigation, post-​death estate administration, conservatorships, guardianships, and estate and small business planning.

I am licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Mississippi and am a former Senior Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish. I was an Assistant Attorney General in Louisiana from 1992 to 2005. My duties included general and disciplinary counsel to numerous boards and commissions and general civil practice.

I was born in Dayton, Ohio, and was a resident of New Orleans from 1971 to 2005. I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans in 1977 and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in 1980.
