Cocktail History, New Orleans History

History

Established in 2011.

I started working in the culinary world in 2004 when I helped to create the Southern Food and Beverage Museum as its original curator. In 2009, the museum hit some economic difficulties and I decided to start my own business giving culinary and cocktail presentations to convention groups. It was then I discovered how few tours there were that really let guests have a multi-sensory experience of the city. What makes New Orleans so interesting is that its iconic food and drinks are connected both to the people who made the city and to the very sites where they were created. So I decided to create a tour that synthesized all of these elements into one great experience: The Cocktail Tour. You taste the drink in the place where it was created hearing the story of its creation and the people who made it. There’s no better way to experience the city.
