Meet the Business Owner

Lacy D.

Business Owner

For me, photography and graphic design represent my art and my passions. I developed an affinity for art (mostly painting) at Ursuline Academy during my middle and high school years. However, it was during my sophomore year at NYU that I first picked up a camera — and upon developing my first black and white photograph, I knew I was hooked. The darkroom was a sanctuary separated from the blaring noise of the city where I felt able to truly create my art. Shortly thereafter, I discovered the world of digital photography and graphic design and became a self-proclaimed addict. I obtained my BFA in Studio Art with a Photography and Graphic Design concentration (and a minor in French) from New York University. My life’s path led me back to New Orleans. My computer has now replaced the darkroom, pencils, and paints, and every day, I am privileged to do a job for which I have a true passion.
