Chez Pierre Bakery

While driving to try out another place, I saw Chez Pierre and based on my experiences at the Clearview location, and at the original location on Veterans in Kenner (that is shut down now, they moved to the Clearview location), I was excited. The baked goods, the foods, all of those happy thoughts flowing through my mind as I anticipated coming by this afternoon on my way home for take out.
There is a heavy Asian influence in the area with many of the restaurants, and the other location has awesome food, so I was expecting the same. They have the same owners, and this location is SMALL. This location sadly only has baked goods shipped out from the Clearview location. Kind of sad, and there was not much left. The store is neat and clean, though small. Even if they did have food, there is not enough room for much of a seating area.
I did get the Chantilly berry mini cake and it was just as wonderful as it could be. Perfect in every way possible.
If your in the area, come by with expectations of the same baked goods as the other location. The gentleman working was very friendly and apologetic. I will be back if I am ever in need of a miniature version of their baked goods.
