Worst tellers. So slow!!! Every time I go here the line is out of the door for business transactions. They only have one teller working and if it is Lisa you might as well pack a lunch and dinner. She is literally in Slo Motion like an accident they replay. She is awful

I am standing in line again at Chase Bank on Royal St. It is the day after a holiday weekend and out of only 2 Teller’s one is at lunch DURING LUNCHTIME; there are over 10 people on line.
This is the worst managed Bank I have ever experienced. Trying to open several business accounts they didnt even have a staff member qualified to assist me and sent me to the bank in the CBD.
I feel bad for the men who have to be on the job sites today and dont have the time to collect their money accept at lunch. This is not a community concerned bank.
Every visit here is wrought with complications. USE ANOTHER BRANCH.

I want to say that having this branch in the French Quarter is priceless. I always look for Marshall when I am in there. Her people skills and very friendly demeanor make my trip to the bank worthwhile. She is the bomb!!!

Quick & Easy. In-&-Out. Smiling, polite employees. Great hours. Great location. What else is there to say?

I’m closing my account. The people there are rude and unhelpful and i figured more out by looking things up on the Chase website then I’ve ever gotten from of them. I regularly find the information on my phone that they can’t ever seem to find in the system.
One of the ladies snapped her fingers and pointed to the ground at my girlfriend like she was a dog because she had them crossed while waiting AN HOUR to not be seen and the lady felt they were on the furniture. She didn’t ask, or suggest or even tell, she just snapped and pointed leaving my girlfriend confused because she’s not accustomed to being treated like an animal. The woman yelled at her with more specific direction finally and then when she was called up it was this woman who miraculously couldn’t complete the transaction. We’d been in the day before, told we were missing something and retuned with exactly what was needed, but this woman outright refused to help. My girlfriend asked to see someone else and the woman then complained loudly to all the people working there about how my girlfriend has attitude and doens’t know how things work.
Best part? She came home with the same info and 20 minutes of fumbling around online, we were able to do what we needed to on the Chase website. She had the correct info, it was just outright refusal by the bank employee because she though my girlfriend had attitude.
If you are trying to do something and you don’t have all the information, I understand why they might not be able to complete a request. The fact that they almost never tell you what you DO need is just bad service. The bankers at this location tell you «no» instead of how you can accomplish what you need to do. The result is 2 – 3 trips to the bank to accomplish a relatively simple task
I’ve dreaded going to this branch for long enough. It’s too close to other banks for me to bother with being treated this way.

This branch happens to be located between the Marigny and the casino.
After I am sufficiently drunk — but still in possession of my motor skills — I can take out all the cash I can safely lose without paying a steep ATM fee like that I’d encounter at Harrah’s.
And that’s priceless, mostly because I bank with Chase.

I love this branch.
I used to bank for years at the Hibernia/​Capital One branch one block away. I got used to slow, casual service, and increasingly decreased hours.
I finally switched last year (major reason was Chase’s iPhone app as well as the confusing posting rules/​fees at Cap 1) and only wish I’ve done it years ago.
These folks are professionals! It’s nice to see tellers in a consistent uniform, after being served by tellers in sweat shirts and hoodies at Cap 1. I was introduced to the branch manager on my first visit, had no problems opening several accounts at once, and was treated very professionally each time here.
Being open till 5PM on weekdays and 1PM is a life-​saver for me. The 4PM/​noon cut off at Cap 1 was killing me. I had to literally sprint there many times before (no fun in the summer).
They have many extra services (safety boxes), many of them free depending on your account.
The tellers are quick. I would estimate most transaction are processed twice as fast then I’m used to at Cap 1.
