History
Established in 2007.
After Katrina, Chef Minh Bui and Chef Cynthia Vu-Tran moved their restaurant Lemon Grass from downtown New Orleans to Mid City where Chef Minh ‘s Lemon Grass Café originated from. Together they rebuilt from the ground up putting their faith that the vitality of Mid-City would return. From there, Café Minh has built a loyal local clientele, becoming a refreshing get away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area and a welcome change, setting itself apart from other restaurants, not just for those visiting this beautiful city, but for those who call New Orleans home.
