I began my Real Estate career in S.E. Florida in 2003, after many years in the hospitality industry, working for EWM in Ft. Lauderdale. In 2005 I moved to New Orleans, 7 weeks before Katrina and the levee breach flooded the city. Over the past 10 years I have been a multi-​million dollar producer and have received my Historic Home Specialist from the Preservation Resource Center in 2007.

Brett A. Rector is a versatile, seasoned Real Estate professional with over 12 years of experience helping buyers, sellers and investors realize their Real Estate dreams & goals.

Brett left behind a very successful RE career in the Miami-​Ft Lauderdale, FL markets to move to New Orleans in July of 2005 for the opportunity to work with his mentor, the legendary Martha Ann Samuel. Approximately eight weeks later, Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast region and flooded the City of New Orleans. Determined to realize his dream of living in this magical city, Brett returned in October of 2005. After his mentor passed away in November of 2005, Brett focused his energies and efforts on building his RE business & helping rebuild his new home city. During the past decade Brett has consistently been listed amongst the Top Real Estate Producers by City Business Magazine as well as a NOMAR Gold & Platinum multi-​million dollar producer and Historic Home Specialist designation from the PRC.
