amazing service (which is important because I hate it when you are made to feel weird about trying on 200 different frames; here it is almost encouraged) and a truly fantastic selection for someone looking to find a unique pair of frames. They have really great warranties against any possible damages. plus, cool people shop here, so amusing people-​watching while you shop.

Hands down the best selection of frames in New Orleans. The staff is extremely helpful. The longest i have ever waited for my glasses to be made was 10 days… Great work people!

I wandered into Art & Eyes this evening expecting the average optical shopping experience. What I got — a welcoming and attentive team of people, who I felt were genuinely dedicated to finding me the perfect fit and style. I laughed, I cried, I lost 15 pounds. I can’t wait to pick up my glasses next week!

Wonderful place with unbeatable selection and very helpful staff! Their selection is much more fun and interesting than anything I can find at home in Boston. Definitely worth the trip!

I’m not a huge shopper, but a friend wanted to stop in here to scope out some new lenses. Located on a great stretch of shops and restaurants on Magazine Street, Art & Eyes was a great (and beautiful) little boutique with hip, creative lenses and people. We all had a great time here trying on lenses and chatting up the staff while they and we gave advice to our friend. The staff was very knowledgable and offered constructive advice on which lenses worked best for each of us. It obviously won my friend over, because she left with new lenses and a happy customer!

Absolutely spectacular service and the best collection of frames in the city. Not inexpensive, but the frames are works of art (literally). Highly recommended.

I went into this beautiful store today. I had given up hope of finding a pair of glasses, and this was my last stop. The selection was so vast and so beautifully displayed, I wasn’t sure where to start. It was like being an eight year old in Willy Wonka’s factory.
Normally, the glasses store is the place where you miserably try on seemingly endless pairs of unflattering glasses until you can find one pair that you can live with or hopefully actually like. However, the proprietor of this store saved me from suffering this fate. He knew what would look good on me, and he helped me find it. He was also extremely patient, while I picked frames. We probably went through forty pairs trying to get «the one». Not only did I find «the one», I found a second equally fabulous pair. After spending two hours in the shop, I discovered they weren’t even open. This kind of customer service goes beyond exceptional! It’s just one of the reasons I love shopping on Magazine Street — real owners who are willing to spend the time to help you find what you want.
The prices were comparable to other stores that sell nice glasses, but the customer care and great selection far exceed other stores. And, you get a discount if you buy two pairs. They even have a camera to take complimentary pictures of what you look like in the glasses so you can make the best choice. Don’t miss this place if you need some great specs!

Went in there yesterday with my dad to pick out some prescription sunglasses, and not only were all the frames gorgeous and
unique from most designer frames you’ll see in many higher-​end stores, but the staff was wonderful! They were so knowledgable and helpful that we ended up getting another pair. I will def be back with all my eyewear needs and I highly recommend them. I cannot wait to pick up my frames!!! (Plus they’re open on Sundays which is fabulous)

Perusing a local magazine I was mesmerized by a pair of glasses that I knew would be PERFECT for a friend of mine && here is where the review starts:
Easily overlooked & missed because it’s set off a bit from the street, this treasure of a store is EPIC!!! Not to be missed & if you do, your loss.
15 – 20 classes of seemingly one of a kind frames, this is a veritable wonderland for one in search of a unique pair of frames. The frames seems to hail from Belguim, France, Italy & others over seas places. Why are the Europeans always such trend setters??? Humph!!! #idk, but #meloves it!!!
Paul, the stylishly dressed, store owner or an employee (not sure which he was), was ever so helpful and attentive.
I would be remiss in reviewing this facility if I didn’t advise that the frames are more pricey then those at your local WalMart or Americas Best, but the individuality & quality is worth a few extra coins.
Generally speaking frames from here will result in oooooohs & ahhhhhhs to the wearer.

They did an amazing job fixing my frames (which I stepped on in a crazy New Orleans evening). They were incredible nice and did an exceptional job. Definitely coming back next time I’m buying some specs.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! I had the WORST experience with this place. The salespeople were really pushy, they kept pulling $ 600 frames of the shelf when I repeatedly told them that was out of my budget. I decided on a pair that was within my budget. The total came to three times the price of the frames. WHAT?!? WHY?!? They included a $ 150 glaze that I didn’t want. Can I get it without the glaze? The salesgirl told me I couldn’t, which is a lie!
I asked for them to be expedited, because I needed them for an important job interview. When I called the day before to make sure they were almost ready, they hadn’t even started working on them. I asked them to be expedited, or I’d like my $$ back. I was told I could only receive store credit. I asked to speak with the owner, Paul I think, who got on the phone and and was UNBELIEVABLY rude!!! «Fine, will skip you ahead of the whole line, cuz you’re so special, is that enough for you?» He barked at me. I will NOT be returning. I am so upset with my experience.

These guys are super nice and helpful! I walked in with a pair of broken glasses and the young lady there really tried to help me fix my glasses, even taking apart a sculpture she was working on for spare parts!
Their frame selection is also really unique — you certainly won’t find any generic Luxotica frames there.
