Worst place EVER!!! Can’t even give it a star!!! They ripped all my nails off. They burn and are raw!!! Do not recommend. Not worth a dollar!

I work in the fq and this place is awesome! Mind you it is definitely not perfect and that’s not about the staff. Location could use some work and clientele can be dicey, but we are all there for the same thing. They are sweet ladies and gentleman and the pricing is right and if you tell them you are there for lunch they will get it done and it looks great!

Id give this place a negative if I could, I worked here personally and it is horrible, I quit after a rat died in the couch and they didn’t close the shop to find it, they left it opened and I did not show up for over a week, I was sick to my stomach! I had to use my own products because they did not sanitize well and use the cheapest brands out there! Shops dirty and smells. Owners excuse for the dead rat«we live downtown New Orleans we can’t do anything about the rats«seriously?! I’m warning you as a former worker, do not get your nails done, half of them are not even licensed workers! I’ve never had to review someone on Unilocal about a place I have worked at because simply it was not their fault I left, but this would be the first, if u want trashy and ghetto ugly nails, you found the right place for u!

I came to Angel Day Spa & Nails during my bachelorette weekend with a few of my girlfriends after checking Unilocal and seeing it had decent reviews. We came for manicures and pedicures, and while the pedicure was fine, I have never had a worse manicure in my life. I’m not sure what the young woman who was handling me was doing, but by the time my manicure was over, 8 of my fingers were bleeding from her ripping out my cuticles too severely, and also stinging from her covering the blood and open wounds in some alcohol solution and nail polish. Once the polish dried, which was a lighter pink shade, you could see the dried blood pooled in the nailbed underneath the polish– very disgusting looking. Furthermore, it took about five days before my red, inflamed cuticles stopped burning. The worst(best?) part was after the manicure was over when the young woman apologized for my bleeding hands and told me she didn’t work there. It was a very confusing/terrible experience and prompted me to write my first ever review on Unilocal

This place was ridiculous. There was a hair dresser was yelling at the owner about how customers going there to get good service yet she was yelling at him in front if us. Wow! I will not return.

I walked in on a hot Sunday for a pedicure, during a Saints game, and was greeted immediately. There wasn’t someone available at that moment, so I was treated to a complimentary chair massage while I waited for a chair(win!). There was a solid selection of nail colours and a nice comfy massage chair. Plus, they’re ok with you drinking while you gets your nails did. They didn’t totally fix my disgustingly calloused feet, but it was well worth the money paid. I’ll be back.

DONOT go here to get eyelash extensions! They load your eyelashes with glue and individual lashes to the point it looks drag and although she will tell you they can last for more than two weeks! It’s not true, they fall off easily on their own but when you try to take them off yourself using her method(baby oil and Vaseline) it becomes a nightmare and your eyes are in pain and no more lashes of your own. I’m warning you only because I wish someone would have told me! Go to another salon with a better method! The cheap $ 25 isn’t worth your natural lashes!

Place is a dump. My tech was sloppy and almost ruined my nails filing them with a drill.

Not far from the Marriott/Sheraton on Canal but a few blocks. Service is prompt, courteous and just down home nice. On top of all that, they are nail(hand and feet) knowledgable. They know their stuff.

Cheap. $ 40 for a mani/pedi. The people are nice and I enjoyed the experience but my polish started peeling off the very next day. BOTTOMLINE: You get what you pay for.

Not terribly impressed. Had 5 hours to kill before a flight so I stopped in to get a pedicure. No frills salon. Christmas decorations up in June, a couple of kids running around. The price was okay, $ 25 for a pedicure. Probably would not come back.

Wanted to walk-in for a relatively inexpensive mani/pedi while visiting NO for work and this fit the bill. Not the best paint job I’ve had, but the guy doing my nails was pleasant and my feet definitely feel better after a long winter in boots.

My girlfriends and I stopped in for pedicures and the overall service was good. Staff is very friendly. They use sort of a cheese grater on your feet for the rough spots, which is an alternative for the old razor. It’s in a fairly large space and relatively clean.

I found Bali on google and I was glad they were able to see me immediately with no wait. The customer service was great, the pedicure was okay. I had a french pedicure and the tips were different thickness. They offered me the quick dry top coat and my nails later smudged.

I live walking distance from this place, which was über convenient. They were able to give a same day appointment, also convenient. My only issue was that they had a Tech do my gels that wasn’t used to doing gels, so they didn’t look so great at first. I called back the next business day and they said they would have the most seasoned gel Tech do them until I was happy, and she said to come in at my convenience. The customer service has been fantastic, so if this new set of gels comes out the way I want they deserve 5 out of 5 stars!

This place is the best to get your nails done! Their service is so friendly and their service is impeccable. They provide many services, from hair coloring, to waxing, to nails, to spa & massages. I got a mani, pedi, cut & color. I went all out on my vacation to New Orleansssss. Everything was a great price for a nail shop in the city, & there’s nothing I could complain about how my nails came out. A big A+ for how sanitary they are because I’m a germaphobe. They even offer a drink while you wait! They make you feel like family. I’m from California which has a long line of chain nail places like«Happy Nails.» I’ve never received service here like I do back home. I definitely love the homey feel to this place. Next time I visit New Orleans I will definitely be coming back! Stop by & check it outtttt
