Adventure Quest Laser Tag Family Fun Center

It’s an all-​encompassing playground for kids with bumper cars, miniature golf, video games and of course laser tag. Dads, don’t fret there is a big screen for sports. Getting credit for the games are dangerously easy with a few clicks and a swipe of a credit card for game credits. Great birthday party venue. We’ve held several birthday parties here and it takes the pain out of planning. They take care of everything from cake, drinks and setting up the room. The food is what food is at places like these. I can never seem to time it just right for the free coffee. I also like this place because it’s close to the Movie Theater and Fox and Hound bar giving dads the option to «excuse himself» for an important call. Yes, I did leave the family to have a beer next door (that’s a totally different experience). Overall, great entertainment venue for the kids.

We came here with our friends 4 kids for one of their birthday parties (ages 5,6,7, and 9) and we all had a blast!!! We got their late, (20 – 30 minutes before closing and the extremely friendly and patient staff acted towards us as if it were mid afternoon, and showed us a non rushed, welcomed time! :D :D. We planned for a little arcade time (decent small arcade, maybe 10 games, not many games but a few good ones for the kids, and you can buy a card for all the kids to swipe or you can swipe for them as they each play their games :) :].), then we planned for 1 laser tag game, then bumper cars! The staff worked great with kids and adults alike and were especially friendly and fun!
Laser tag was an absolute blast! The staff did a great and quick job at getting us all set up, and the game layout was big and creative! It had many corners and walls to hide behind, ramps to escape on, windows through barracks to peep through, and it was dark enough to make the team lights glow nicely, but light enough to see everything! Lots of laughs and memories! Older age kids can easily enjoy this too and I might go more often as a nice little involved and intereactive cardio workout for $ 6.50 :D :D
One big thing was that we wanted to play Laser Tag with the birthday boy and friends who were under 7 years old, and unlike some other Laser Tag places, there really is no age limit on who plays — a major plus!
We also had a blast on the bumper cars! Again the staff was very generous with us and the kids, and gave us a really great time :) :) Would definitely recommend this place to others for lots of fun little adventures together! :D :)

I was visiting a friend and we decided to check this out for some mini golf onside since it’s a rainy day. Overall pretty fun. The 9 holes is a little disappointing. But overall a good place. I’ll probably come back next time I’m in town.

Had so much fun on a Tuesday here! Had the place to ourselves with a great deal, two for Tuesday. Played four or five games with adults and kids from 70 – 4. Everyone had a blast! We didn’t make it past laser tag, can’t wait to go back!

We love Adventure Quest Laser Tag! We went on an unlimited play for $ 20 per person night and our family had a BLAST! When we got tired of laser tag, we enjoyed an air hockey tournament, mini-​golf, etc. What a great value!

I love this place because it so old school. The laser tag room is straight out of the late 80’s and early 90’s. The staff is super cool and nice. They have upgraded their games and some additional entertainment. It is fun for the whole family or just some 30 something’s wanting to turn the clock back.

Never had a bad experience at this place, it’s everything you’d expect in a children’s arcade, cost efficient, and boy do they know how to keep to an itinerary!

My son had a great birthday party here. Lots of games and the laser tag was a blast.

Much like Barney Stinson, I love laser tag. This is a pretty fun place for it. I came to help chaperone a friend’s kid’s birthday party. Most of my «chaperoning» involved using kids as human shields. Hey, it’s a jungle out there.
We played several games, our guns worked every time. There was minimal jerk kid shenanigans. The arcade isn’t extensive, but is a nice change of pace and I think is sadly the biggest arcade in NOLA.
Each vest is already assigned a code name, most of them are pretty funny in a really lame sort of way. I wish you could choose your own, but I guess fighting some softball guy who insists on being named «ChodeMaster 69» would be annoying for the 16 year olds who work here.

My niece recently had a birthday party here. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by a swarm of unsupervised screaming children and loud music… always a good sign, right?
It was a little bit headache-​inducing. However, I’m giving this 3 stars because the birthday girl had a great time.
Bumper cars were fun. The mini golf was kind of lame. I didn’t try laser tag (too many screaming pre-​teens).
Overall, a good place for a package deal on a birthday party, but be prepared to search for an escape route from the madness…

Went here with the kiddo for a field trip, and WOW — we had a blast!!! The little guy has been asking about laser tag for at least a year now, but I hadn’t even considered looking in to it because the only places I’ve ever been to have a height requirement of like 4’6″. When this place came up for a field trip, I called to see what their height requirements are and was thrilled to find out that there isn’t one for laser tag here… basically if they can wear the vest, they can play. AWESOME! You have to be 48″ to drive the bumper cars alone, but I was very pleased to hear that kids of any height can ride along as a passenger. Sign us up!
The field trip setup is great. Our group had the entire place to ourselves, and the cost per person included unlimited laser tag, bumper cars, and mini golf. You can get a LOT of playing done in three hours, you know? They have a TON of vests, split up into blue and red teams. The room you enter first has «briefing room» written on the door, and I wish they would have actually briefed because I wasn’t smart enough to figure out that you have to hold the gun with both hands to fire (mind you, the gun itself does actually say this to you, but it’s so loud and dark and overwhelming with all the action that it was a little while before I actually noticed the words on the little screen)… and I also wasn’t smart enough to figure out that the teams really were teams and that you could only shoot players of the opposite team. And there was some voice talking about the base taking damage or something, but I never could figure out how that was happening, or what the goal of that even was. *shrug*
I never claimed to be a genius, folks. *laughing*
The laser tag arena was awesomely done, like Mayan ruins. The walls were really sturdy and the whole place was constructed really well. Lots of cool hiding spots with windows to shoot through and around, mirrors and such that you could bounce a laser off of, ramps and different levels, fun lighting (pretty dark with black lights and other colored lights here and there, upbeat but not annoying music. The vests themselves were pretty bulky (and hot after you were playing for a bit) but my 4yo seemed to do okay with it even though it came down well past his knees and looked more like a flashing dress on him instead of a vest, haha.
The bumper cars were a lot of fun, and if there was one that didn’t work well (there’s ALWAYS one of those at the amusement park, isn’t there?!) it went undetected by me and the rest of the kids there. It was also fairly dark with black light stuff everywhere. The mini golf area is pretty cool as well, 9 holes of varying difficulty, also dark and black-​lit (heh) and Mayan-​ruins-​themed as well. The entire building looked really cool insidre, but of course crappy point-​and-​shoot pictures don’t even begin to do it justice. They have pictures on their website, but most of them are brighter than what it was like when we were there.
There are video games and such as well, but I have no clue how many tokens they take or how much the tokens cost because we didn’t partake. Too busy playing laser tag!
Our $ 13.50 admission price also included 2 slices of pizza and unlimited drink refills… and from the fountain, at that. So instead of having to try and mess with pitchers, and having to choose only 2 types of drinks, and trying not drink the entire pitcher yourself because it would be rude even though you’re absolutely parched… you just grab a cup and go help yourself to whatever you want, and as much as you want. LOVE IT. The pizza was definitely right on par for places like this that do their own, which means it was mediocre but still edible and not awful. Considering it only added $ 2 per person to the cost, I would definitely say it was a great value.
All the equipment seemed to be in perfect working order, and the place was clean and well maintained — restrooms included! The staff was friendly and actually seemed happy to be there with the entire herd of insane screaming children. And the kids? All smiles. There’s usually a miserable one in every bunch, but this place was way too cool for that. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back soon, and a birthday party here is most likely in the kiddo’s future.

Daughters went here for a birthday party; sounded like very accomodating; they had tons of fun; both want to have parties here now; bumper cars and laser tag said they had a blast!

While this is a super fun, fast paced, action packed birthday party for kids, it’s also extremely structured, which can be annoying. My nephew had a birthday party here recently and the overall price was fairly cheap. They have different birthday packages to choose from but each party gets a room & their own personal party agenda. Which goes a little bit like this:
12:35−1:00 video games
1:00−1:12 laser tag
1:14−1:24 mini golf
1:26−1:45 cake/​pizza/​presents
As an adult, it was ridiculous, running from here to there, trying to round up the kids to move onto the next thing. I understand they have a large volume of parties move through here but I wish it was a little more lax. Granted, the kids have a short attention span but still, a little more time to play in one area wouldn’t hurt!
The place was relatively clean, most of the machines were in working order (because that’s the worst isn’t it? When the only game you are good at is out of order!), and they offer cold beers (that aren’t just domestic!). I thought the flashing light fixtures that go along with the upbeat music was cute. Most of the staff are super young teenagers so if there’s an issue (like someone dropped a drink in the laser area) it doesn’t exactly get tended to quickly. In fact, they turned on the lights and 3 of the staff just sort of stood around the spill just staring at it. A manager got angry because there was no sign on the door prohibiting food or drink in the laser room and everything pretty much skidded to a halt for much longer than necessary.
If you like extremely fast paced, cheap entertainment for your kids birthday party, this is your place. Your best bet is to just take the kids for a day, give em some money & let them do their thing until nap time!

Adventure Quest is a pretty cool place for kids and adults. The arcade games leave something to be desired, but they make up for that by having some sweet bumper cars, mini-​golf, and a pretty unique laser-​tag setup. The food is, as can be expected, pretty gnarly. The booze is, as can be expected, pretty expensive (though there’s alcohol at a laser tag place, so YAY!). Overall, every time I’ve been here I’ve had a pretty solid amount of fun, but not more than I’d have anywhere I go with a group of friends.

Love the black light bumper cars, laser tag and mini golf. The laser tag vests are a little too heavy for a child younger than 9. The min golf is very small and the bumper cars are as good as it gets.
I was impressed that the food wasnt overly priced. But it is funny that an icee, beer and wine are all the same price. ($ 3) Nachos, fries, hot dog, cookies was pretty much what u expect. The arcade games were higher priced than chuck e cheese.
The employees were awesome. The laser tag guy took the time to show our kids how it all worked and offered to hold our purses in the office. The counter service girl made too many fries and gave us the extra order. The other counter girl let me use my coupon for 3 kids instead of 2 like the card read. the bumper cars attendant let them go extra long since no one was waiting. Really its the excellent customer service that will keep me coming back

This is where i got to spend my day with my nephews instead of French Quarter Fest. The food is similar to gas station food pizza, wings, hot dogs and nachos but expect to pay $ 3 for an Icee. ive been here many times but today was the first time i noticed other guest drinking wine here.
The glow in the dark miniature golf is awesome. i found out today the bumper cars are roomy enough to fit a large 6 ft tall man. laser tag seems to be pretty popular with college students cuz i always see a group.
the staff is friendly. i asked them if they could store the ice cream cake that i purchased from elsewhere and they happily did. we forgot to bring candles so they provided us with some at no cost! if this place had better tables and chairs and a salad bar it would rock even more.

My girlfriend surprised me with a visit here on my birthday along with some friends and oh lord did we have a blast (no pun intended)! The arcade was fun but never dished out the correct amount of tickets and some machines ate my coins, but the staff corrected these issues promptly which was not typical of these types of establishments so that was awesome.
The lazer tag was of course my favorite, what a great arena, and my second favorite… they sell BEER! I have yet to go to a kid oriented place like this where you can purchase beer and this was the cherry on top of the whole experience. I may have just turned 25 but I still love mini golf and the like so I enjoyed this venue being both kid AND adult friendly.

FUN. There’s a nice range of activities here – laser tag, bumper cars, glow-​in-​the-​dark golf, video games, other games, and party rooms. It’s also adult-​friendly. There’s a nice big-​screen TV for adults to enjoy sports, and adult beverages as well.
I played a round of tag with my son, and I think I had more fun than he and the other kids did. For adults, it’s not bad exercise, either. The bumper cars were very cool, as well. I even had some fun with the video games and other games.
The food selection is basic, but it serves everyone’s needs. It can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Best of all, it seems to be a great place for the kid’s or kids’ party.

I’ve been to Adventure Quest a total of two times… the most recent of which was this past weekend for my little cousin’s 9^th birthday party. (Before that was his brother’s 9^th birthday party last year).
The kids seemed to really enjoy this place. There are enough mini golf, arcade games and laser tag to excite everyone… even those «too cool for school» types.
And adults will find that they are enjoying themselves more than they realize. I’ll admit that I felt pretty good about myself as I defeated little kids on dance revolution. I will also admit that I may have been a little hard on my laser tag army… I know they were all under 10, but C’MON! It’s called STRATEGY people. Luckily, I have a way with children, so there was no mutiny. :)
For parents… this isn’t the kind of place I would just drop off a kid, but I would definitely feel comfortable giving them free rein to run around for and hour or two while you have a seat. There’s even a place to watch the laser tag matches while your kids battle it out.
Food is average kid-​friendly selections: pizza, hot dogs, nachos, etc. We also had ice cream cake. YUMZ!
All in all, this is a pretty cool place to spend a weekend afternoon. I know that places that are both fun and safe for kids can be a little hard to find, but this is a good option. Just keep in mind, that lots of people will probably think the same way, which means prepare yourself for what seems like hundreds of kids yelling, laughing, and bumping into you all day.
My only real gripe was I couldn’t get enough laser tag. Apparently, there’s some rule about giving other people a chance to play. :P
