Established in 1990.

ABBA Academy & Preschool began as a home daycare in Marrero, LA. The business grew and relocated to a commercial building. Using the A Beka curriculum to teach basic academics and Christian principles, ABBA proudly boasted an 80% rate of its graduates having the ability to read. Since Hurricane Katrina, ABBA Academy & Preschool has moved to the City of New Orleans. We are rebuilding and look forward to serving the children of our community.

Our Rates are as follows:

0−1yr…$ 125 per week or $ 550 per month

1−4yrs…$ 100 per week or $ 440 per month

Before/​After School…$ 60 per week or $ 264 per month

School Age (Summer)…$ 75 per week or $ 330 per month

Business Owner

Educated in the public school system, I learned early of hard work and accountability. I earned a BA in Political Science and a Master of Social Work. I have 30 years of working with teens, adolescents, families and the community and over 15 years in business.

I am a mother of four, a homeowner a business owner and a hard worker. I have a history of tackling difficult jobs and using them to grow and build people and business. A former Probation and Parole Officer who was the lead pre-​sentence investigator; Crisis Evaluator, counseling and guiding adolescents and their families through times of crisis, and Business Owner to sustain and grow corporate environments in a static economy.

I am proud that 81% of the students at ABBA Academy & PreSchool who remained with us 2+ years graduate as readers. Early education had proven to be linked to success in education. With the decline in performance of many school systems, our staff provide the best early start possible for preschoolers.
