Truly «meh.» I wasn’t impressed at all… :(

Great spot! Hidden gem in new Milford. Went in for the first time today and was greeted by friendly staff and a great breakfast sandwich. They were out of egg bagels but the whole wheat bagel was very good. Definite recommend over the new Milford bagel deli up the street!

I used to not like The Bagel Factory (like 10 years ago), because I didn’t like their low-​fat cream cheese, and have actually avoided the place for years. I still have no idea what the lfcc (or fat-​free, not sure what they carry these days) tastes like now, but I went the other day because it was on the way home, and I was thrilled to see a whole wheat everything bagel. For some reason, those are relatively still hard to find. This bagel beat my current favorite (Wonder Bagel in JC), by far, as it was actually encrusted with seeds and salt; it didn’t just have a tiny smattering of toppings. Also, I want to emphasize that the salt was in ratio with the other flavors, because to me, the ultimate sign of a bad everything bagel is that it just has garlic, onion, poppy, and sesame. It NEEDS the salt to be good.
A bagel without cream cheese: 80 cents. I’ll have to give the cream cheese another try, but even if I put topping on at home, like I did this time, it’s still a winner.
Tip: If you are freaked out by overly doughy bagels and find yourself carb consciously pulling out the middle, this whole wheat everything will probably make you happy. It wasn’t like Lender’s tiny, but it was realistically sized in that it wasn’t 5 servings of bread, either.

Solidly average bagel place with a full menu of bagel sandwiches. Can’t go wrong if you’re in the area.
