History
Established in 1974.
In 1974 University of New Haven’s Southeastern Campus opened. Back then, UNH Southestern’s administrative office was located at Mitchell College and called the «New London Extension Program». Day and evening classes, as well as «swing shift» classes were available. Swing shift classes were offered twice daily to accommodate the schedules of police officers, who at the time made up the majority of UNH Southeastern’s student population.
