Ron Barr started Barr Tree Care in 2006. He has been in the tree care business since 1992 serving the south and southwest suburbs of Chicago. He has been a Licensed Pesticide applicator and I.S.A. Certified Arborist since 1994. Barr Tree Care believes in providing high quality tree care services that work.

This was a great experience as far as spending cash to get a tree removed when you can’t do it yourself. From start to finished it was smooth and professional. I submitted a request for an estimate on a tree in our backyard with limited access. Other estimates came in with tree removal and stump removal and only 2 out of the 5 estimates were upfront that their stump remover would not fit through the access to our yard. I appreciate Ron’s honesty upfront so I would know what I would be left with the deal with!
When his crew arrived (On time!), they were professional and respected my backyard. They were EXTREMELY skilled at their job and within 1.75 hours they had not only taken the tree down, but cleaned up completely! My wife and I are very pleased with the experience from start to finish. We’d recommend Ron and his crew to anyone!

We have had the pleasure of working with Barr Tree Care on 2 occasions, the first tree they took down for us and didn’t leave a leaf in the yard, the 2nd time it was on Super Bowl Sunday, during a blizzard, when the tree fell on our house. Ron came out immediately and took the tree down in the snow. They are very reasonable with their estimates and are nothing but professional!

This company has reached out multiple times to correct their lack of response. On this note I give them kudos. I wish I could rate them higher but due to the earlier lack of communication I was unable to use their services. Had I not already found a tree care service I would definitely give them a try based on their ongoing followup.

We have used Barr Tree Care on two occasions. Barr removed two trees on one occasion and during the summer, removed a large tree branch blocking our driveway. They removed the large, heavy branch and trimmed branches hanging over the house. In addition to the most reasonable costs of tree services in the area (we’ve experienced 3 other tree services in our area), Barr’s cleanup is exceptional. When the men completed the job, there wasn’t one branch or piece of wood left on the lawn. High recommendations to Barr Tree Care; professional ataff and equipment for tree removal service. If no answer, leave a complete voicemail message and someone will return the call.

we used barr tree service on March 5th, 2012. Ron and his team were very professional. They came out inmmediately to give a tree removal estimate. Very reasonable. A few weeks later we hired them, they were on time, polite, and thorough. Cleaned up after themselves and finished in atimely matter. Definately would reccomend them.
