First off, the waitress Nosheen was such a sweetheart!
The food was delicious I honestly think this is the best diner I’ve ever gone to in my entire life. The employees were very welcoming
The interior of this place was very clean and organized
Will definitely come to this diner from now on

This had to be the worst diner I’ve ever eaten at
As I ordered I had a lady that completely ignored everything I said and kept laughing and just amusing me everything I asked for,
I ordered pancakes a omelet and a cheese burger well done and when it came there was blood actually dripping out of it and everything was very cold I called back up to see if they could fix the issue and give me another one and instead I got an attitude and three different people grab the phone to tell me that that’s impossible and there’s no way it could be cold. Overall worst diner I’ve ever ate at

New to The area and have gotten Breakfast a few times from here, Great place, Great Food, and Great Staff! I’m a regular now!

I order food from yesterday’s diner regularly. I love their breakfast items and burgers. 9 times out of 10 everything is good but sometimes there are mistakes but I’m not the type to hold a grudge things happen people are human. Delivery is usually pretty quick and the $ 10 minimum is great except when the thing you want is 9.95. All and all great food :)

Why do diners on Long Island even exist. This is a your typical diner with a menu that hasn’t been updated in 40 years. The waiter even asked me if I wanted a menu. He figured, if you even been to a typical Long Island diner then you know the menu so why even bother to bring it. I ordered something from the specials board and the waiter told me, after 10 minutes, they ran out yesterday. Once I got the revised order, the food was apathetic. Made by someone who you know hates their life and the fact they work in a kitchen.

The breakfast staff is very attentive here. The portions are fair for the price you pay. I dropped some stars because the take-​out meals are less stellar. Our order was messed up, and we were too far to bring it back. Make sure you have the person on the phone read your order back!

You know that feeling when you get a sandwich with cheese but there’s just not enough? Well that is NOT the case here. I got the Rock’nRoll Chicken Sandwich and it was loaded with yummy cheese and peppers, very good. Liked the potato salad on the side, the Cole slaw was ok, nice sour pickle. I’m glad we went.
The onion rings seem a little like the microwave type, but tasted
wife said her eggs were fine, but she was a little grossed out upon her last bite when she noticed two very short hairs mixed in with some of the yolk on her plate, but we can’t be sure it wasn’t from her own eyelashes or something like that. Just trying to be fair. Restaurants get blamed for other people’s stuff all the time.
The service was good enough, and I happened to really like our server. All in all, a slightly better-​than-​average experience!

We came here on Christmas morning for breakfast. Got basic items Ham & Cheese omelet, and an egg sandwich with peppers and Swiss cheese on a roll. It’s obvious they don’t season their eggs, which made the entire sandwich unsatisfactory. I didn’t finish my food. We come here often, usually super late at night due to a lack of open options, but almost always leave unsatisfied. Like we spent all this money for sub par food.

. My order was a breakfast platter which included pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham and sausage. The order came very fast to my house which i was happy about. However, the bacon was really hard which I didn’t particularly like. However, the pancakes and ham i really enjoyed. Thanks yesterdays diner for a good breakfast!

This diner is a hit or miss. I’ve been coming to Yesterday’s pretty often, usually ordering breakfast items, burgers, and paninis. The food is average at best, nothing special. The only plus side is that it’s open 24/​7, pretty much the only place in the area to grab a bite after midnight. The waitresses are also nice.

–I’ve had my order mixed up twice. Once, the brought a completely different sandwich. Second time they brought us the wrong side. However, they were quick to try to correct the order.
–I was served moldy bread. Yes, MOLDY bread. Almost missed it because they’ve been toasted. Once again, when brought to attention, they were quick to bring us new slices of toast, but also have us some BS story. They claim that their bread is delivered fresh every day and «have no idea how the bread could become moldy». Please, even in the most humid storage, bread will not mold within a day.

Well #1, it’s a Diner, that is trying to do a throw back ambiance to the 50’s I think. Décor is a little all over the place. My order was just the standard 2 eggs medium with crispy bacon on white toast, basically an egg sandwich. It was served open faced, really strange looking. It’s as if they were trying to make this egg sandwich look some how more appetizing. I asked the waitress if this is how the egg sandwiches were always served and she said yes. Humm… well ok. Far be it from me to call BS on the display, but really it’s just an egg and bacon sandwich. Eggs were cooked correctly and the bacon was crispy, so score on the sandwich, it was good, but my mind was thinking it’s open faced. what’s with the fancy.
Next order was were they lost the stars. We asked if we could substitute the home fries for just some lettuce and tomato. The answer was yes for an additional $ 1.50. Well ok, but this is where it gets sketchy. The lettuce came on the plate all chopped up and the tomato was on top. After the meal and the check I inquired further about this substitution issue. Apparently this was considered a side salad and not just lettuce and tomato. I said to the manager… so if you just substitute you call it a salad, the response was yes. I said, well this is not the type of lettuce you put on a burger and he said no, we put better lettuce on the burger. Did this guy just say he served me not so good chopped lettuce in a backwards kind of way. Well yes he did. I said so… really there was an up charge for a quasi salad and you just left the home fries off the plate… the answer was yes. The manager then offered to get the home fries for us. So basically there’s a little bamboozalling going on here. To top it off, they even served the other English muffin egg sandwich open faced.
Note to restaurants, mini fancy gestures are not necessary. We just want good food and good service.

I don’t know what reason kept me away from here for so many years, but now I know why. We came here around midnight after a night of drinking. I only had one drink so perhaps I was more in-​tune to my surroundings.
We got seated right next to the host/​hostess stand. It’s a small diner, that seemingly hasn’t changed in decades. Which is fine, but it just felt it wasn’t very clean, like a layer of grime covered everything.
My sister and I chose to split a plate of chicken tenders. One of the simplest foods out there. When the chicken tenders came out, they were piping hot, so I was hoping for a good late-​night snack. Very wrong. The breading has no flavor whatsoever and neither did the chicken, which was also very rubbery in texture. Dipping it in the honey mustard sauce (not very good honey mustard sauce either) made it hard to stomach it. I just wanted the plate to be done with. I’m sure there are other items on their menu which are good, but these chicken tenders were not appeasing in any respect.
My next biggest gripe is a can of bug spray that was left out in the open. Since I was seated across from the hosting stand, the can was on the floor next to the partition for the stand. Bugs are going to be attracted to restaurants regardless. But leaving a can of bug spray out in the open like that is probably what made it harder for me to choke down the chicken tenders.
I’ll have to stick to my chosen local diner from now on. I’m all about supporting local places but… ya gotta give me at least something to support.

Came here around 1am with a friend because we were hungry and our usual go-​to diner was closed. I would say everything was mediocre. Food was alright, no major complaints. Given that we were there late at night on a weekday, the place was pretty empty. Our waitress was nice but not as attentive as she could’ve been. It’s annoying when people dilly dally, but maybe that’s just me.
I ordered the French onion soup. I’d like to note that I LIVE for French onion soup. I get it wherever and whenever I can. This one was just okay. Decent flavor, cheese was melted well, not too much or too little salt, but the broth was unusually thick and a weird consistency. I finished like half of it. I also got a side of grilled chicken which was okay as well.
I’m bumping this place up to 3 stars because my friend said her Greek salad was the best diner salad she’d ever had (salads are her diner usual). She also got a side order of pickles. The pickles were weird tasting and definitely not worth the extra $ 3.25.
Prices are a bit steep for the quality and portion of the food.

Yesterday’s is a terrific diner. We have been going for years. Tonight we ordered potato skins for an appetizer. I ordered the Hollywood burger which was great.
My girls ordered the chicken gyro with sweet potato fries and the Camaro panini which is grilled chicken with pesto on it. All was very good.

My wife and I have visited yesterday’s diner a few times over the years and have found for the most part they’re ok. There are many selections on the menu so you’re not limited per se. recently we went for an early morning breakfast we were seated right away the waitress was very friendly there was a little bit of the language barrier because we have to ask twice to get water but other than that it was okay as far as service. NOTE to the Manager please clean the lamps above each table they seem to be very dusty and dirty. The food is a little bit on the pricey side. The French toast was good I had the bacon and eggs with french fries and wheat toast with the coffee everything came out to about $ 20 you get a 10% discount when you check in with Unilocal.this restaurant offers delivery also and it’s pretty convenient. Nothing spectacular here.

I have been coming here for almost 15 years. This establishment has always been so kind to me and my family. The waiters always greet us with a smile and ask how we are doing. At this point they even know what we like to order.
The food for me has always been good and I am never disappointed. This is my daughters favorite place to eat breakfast after her sports on a Saturday morning. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros today for the first time and being of Mexican decent he is usually critical about Mexican food and he loved it.
I can’t say enough positive things about this place because they always make me feel like I’m home and that above anything is most important for me.

So disappointing. I have lived here for 32 years and finally decided to give Yesterdays a try. I think we will stick with our old faithful diner.
When did diners stop putting a glass of water on the table?
The waitress was friendly and sweet, but not very attentive.
The food was mediocre for the price. I was shocked how expensive it was.
After such high expectations after reading all the reviews, just left us disappoined.

I just don’t know how I feel about this diner! I had such high expectations after extensively reading the Unilocal reviews as I was secretly planning on cheating on my go to diner, STOP 20. I went on a Sunday morning around 2 AM and we were immediately seated. Now the staff is very friendly and our waitress was a sweetheart, but I could tell that there was a language barrier. We requested water and I noticed that the cups appeared very old and worn. I remember staring at the cup and wondering if I wanted to drink from it! I ordered an omelette with toast and I was absolutely horrified to notice a black hair in my omelette. I don’t have black hair so I know it wasn’t mine. The waitress offered to have another omelette made, but that was such a turn off! I won’t be returning to this diner and I hope that you don’t have this same experience, unless you like hair in your food!!! Gross!

My friend and i stopped in here after our hot yoga class and was starving. The diner has a small parking lot but it seems as if patrons come and go pretty quickly. The décor is cute and there is a very cozy and homey feel to the diner.
The staff were amazing, they’re friendly and most importantly quick and attentive. Our food didn’t take long to come out which was another great plus. We both ordered the pancake plus thar came with two eggs (your choice how you want them cooked), two pieces of bacon and sausages and your choice of tea or coffee. My food was good and I didn’t have any complaints about any of my meal. It was satisfyingly sufficent and didn’t break my pockets. We were able to use our Unilocal check in 10% off our meal with no problems. I would definitely check this diner out again when I’m back in the area and you should too.
