Great local restaurant and bar. Whether it be a place to start, to end, or to spend the night TJs is a great option. Food will keep you coming back for more. Unpretentious and nice place to catch a game. Recommend trying the blackened chicken sandwich.

Food is great and well priced, they have flat screens on the wall perfect for sports game. Happy hour and drink specials through out the day. I would recommend this bar for drinks and good eats!

Incredible blackened chicken sandwich. I would eat it every single day. Other food is great too, so you should definitely visit!

This is a homey everyday bar for the surrounding community. I visited when I was staying at my cousins house just down the block. I could totally see myself if I were living in the area stopping by for a drink every week or so. I haven’t tried any of the food so I can’t comment on that. Parking spaces available in the lot… which I wouldn’t recommend if drinking lol. Simple drinks and beers done well.

A little confession, I’m not into watching sports, so it’s not the large HD screens and the drink specials that has me returning to T.J.s., it’s the awesome food and friendly service. One of my favorite items on their menu is the Blackened Chicken Hero. The interplay between the well seasoned, grilled chicken breast and cajun mayo provides the proper heat for spice-lovers, yet it does not drown out contributions from the melted cheddar cheese and toasted bread. In so doing, these ingredients collectively put forward an authentic tasting hero. It’s now my standard for blackened chicken at other eateries. Also the friendly staff brings an added benefit to my experience there. The great part is, it’s local. Cheers :)

A great place. Fantastic food. With a nice selection of drinks. The closest bar to long Island jewish. I’ve seen quite a few people come in with the worries of the world their families health. Within seconds people new why you where there. Good people. Seen them treat people who where on there last straw. Bring em back. Even if it wasn’t meant to be that one moment you really needed that drink you where understood and treated with open arms. God bless u all.. And iam gonna give the food 5 stars.

This place is not bad at all. The drinks are good. However, being that it’s football season, it would be nice they had better drink specials. The service. we’ll it’s eh. The waitress seemed annoyed when taking the order and when I asked her to put the football game on. Their music selection is not bad. I like Olivia Newton John but I don’t want to here her whole CD. Lol. Overall, I would probably be back when ever I am in town again. Okay let me say that Robin is very nice. She introduced herself and was very personable. Thank you.

The Good: The wings are terrific, the people that work there seem really nice. The Bad: The Flat Iron Steak was tough, dry and pretty darn bad.

Nice low key bar. Isn’t too loud like a lot of other bars in the area. Their beer tap collection isn’t great, they only have Modelo, Blue Moon, and Heineken. Also, I’m in my mid twenties, and the crowd is definitely a bit older than me. But the ambiance is chill and it the bar has a very inviting vibe. Nice place for a few beers to watch the game, when most bars in the area are much more out of control.

TJs is a great local watering hole in Queens. Anytime I’m in town, I make sure I come by here for a drink. The new management has really taken the time to upgrade the place and elevate the atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and the service is prompt and thorough. I highly recommend the blackened chicken sandwich if you get a bite to eat. This place is definitely a great neighborhood bar. Ask for Eddie, he’ll take care of you!

The food here is GREAT! If you enjoy a local spot to make your wings, burgers(TJ’s American Grill), blackened chicken sandwich, nachos and they even do calamari, fish and chips and pasta really well… this is the place for you! A local small joint that has great food, a lot of TV’s and just the right size for you to not to feel overwhelmed with too many people and enjoy good company with friends and family.

The TJ’s American grill sandwich is delicious, as are the blackened chicken hero and the red snapper fish and chips. Friendly staff and great environment. I will definitely continue to dine with them. Especially during football games when they have food and drink specials!

This place is awesome the staff is always attentive and takes care of everyone. The food is great and has a lot of variety. Best thing is the blackened chicken sandwich a must have. The wings are actually meaty not the small ones that you get from other places. Tommy and Eddie are great guys that def looks out for everyone. People should come here a lot more often. Drinks are at great prices and the new upgrades they did inside are amazing. Try this spot one day I bet you will come back.
