Bartender was very unreasonable and unaccommodating. I recently lost my ID, so I’m walking around with a photocopy of my lost ID, and also an unexpired ID which says «under 21» from last year BUT clearly states my bday, and if he were to have just looked at it, he would have seen I am indeed of legal drinking age. I tried explaining my situation and he just wasn’t having it. Didn’t even check my DOB. He wasn’t outwardly rude but I definitely would not go back.
For the record, I’ve tended bar so I know how it works: the bartender makes the rules. I wouldn’t have done what he did, and thats him, but like I said, I’m not going back.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First off, the liquor selection is sub-​par. Come on pinnacle? Second if you like hanging out with 21 year olds close minded people. Low life’s go here. If your not from new hyde park fire department, don’t bother going. Top shelf liquor. nada. Angry gnome, is the place to go. Here they are friendly open regular hours. This place, you drive by and it’s always closed. Walk street tavern, another great place. The owner is a blow hard. What can I say, a typical close minded, small town minded guy. But hey some people enjoy that.

I love this place. The owner is cool and accommodating; he made me feel comfortable although it was my first time there. The music was AMAZING because the bartender had the best playlist ever. The jukebox isn’t as expensive most other bars, AND THEY SERVE FOOD!!! Who could beat that?
