Description

Specialties

Hibachi Sushi Ya caters towards family looking to celebrate anything from anniversarys, comfirmations or birthdays at our Hibachi Grill. We have a Sushi Bar that is always stocked with fresh fish. We also have a full bar and extensive sake list for those looking for a night out. We also have a wide variety of Asian cuisine, notably Chinese food done right.

History

Established in 2008.

After two unsuccessful Japanese restaurant stints, local restaurant owner of Sushi Ya at Garden City, NY purchased what was at the current time known as Nodaz. Eric Leong enlisted help from long-time friend Paul Chong to help manage his new location. Together, they implemented a new menu and experienced staff/chef changes. This restaurant is hidden in the King Kullen shopping center and has remained hidden because it is operating without a sign for the restaurant. Word-of-mouth has kept the restaurant afloat from the local community.
