Apart from the fact that the course is uneven (which prevents you from playing a proper game of mini golf), the customer service is quite unfriendly. I’ve been here on multiple occasions and each time, I’ve found the personnel to be quite cold. My 1^st time there, my 3 year old asked to ride the train, I inquired if it was included in the initial price stated or if it required a separate ticket and I was told «of course it’s an additional ticket and you’ll have to pay for yourself too if you want to ride with her.» I can understand if that’s their policy, I just don’t think they needed to be so rude about it. I experienced other similar occurrences every time I interacted with the workers there and personally, if a merchant can’t treat it’s customers with respect, I’d rather not give them my business.
My advice — save your money and go elsewhere.

We went in the winter so the mini golf was closed, but we hit up the driving range which was a lot of fun. Pretty reasonable prices for a bucket of balls.

As others have stated, if you come here for mini golf, you simply cannot play.
Built on a landfill, the ground is uneven; you cannot place your ball on the turf and have it sit in place; many of the holes have been gouged out to hold the ball still.
Once you hit the ball, if it doesn’t go into the hole on your first shot, it will roll to the low spot on the green with all the other balls. Good shot, bad shot, no difference. A complete waste of time.

BIG place! Like how the range has a second floor and few times coming, pretty packed. Just came back a few weeks ago and saw that there is a restaurant now! NICE! too bad the bathroom is a bit of a walk if you don’t get a good spot at the range.

Besides the fact that I live so close to it, its a go to spot for many golfers. This place is awesome and prices are great. Give it a try if you havent already. I’m sure most golfers know about this range. Its extremely popular. They also have a very fun mini golf course.

Great family place with a mini golf section tho I did not play mini golf here. There is no actual golf course here, just a driving range and mini golf. The driving range is fairly good priced. There’s upper and lower deck. Each has its own square box to practice their swings without having to worry about wacking someone over the head with a club.
If my memory serves me right I think it’s $ 20 for 200 balls??? Which is a very generous amount, a lot more then most driving ranges I’ve been to.

The mini golf courses are an embarrassment. This location used to be a landfill and the land has shifted over time so that the course is uneven. Even when placing your ball down at the start it can be hard to keep it from rolling. No matter how you hit it you’re pretty much going to have the ball wind up in the same place. One hole (on the Romeo course) has the ball end up in the grass every time. Also the lighting is terrible, there’s huge cracks in the pavement, and there’s tons of empty bottles in the water. Very disappointing and at $ 8 (for 21 holes) or $ 7 (for $ 18 holes) it’s way overpriced. I don’t know why this place is always so crowded.

This is our 2^nd time visiting and it is definitely one of the nicest driving ranges in Queens. We visited the other nearby driving range — Alley pond and this one not only is slightly cheaper (surprise huh?), the facility is bigger (with 2 floors) and the overall amenities is nicer (café, golf shop, miniature golf, putting green… etc.) Highly recommended!

I have been here a couple times to use the driving range which is pretty big and always has stalls available. The price is not that bad and coming here is a nice way to be active while alone with your thoughts. The price is not bad for a bucket of balls and the parking is easy. One day I definitely like want to take advantage of their virtual golf course.

I really like their mini golf course. There’s 2 courses you can go on, although you have to pay separate admission for both. The choices are «Romeo» which is the more difficult course and «Juliet» which is the easier one I guess.
We chose the Romeo course and overall the green was pretty clean and difficulty level is pretty challenging. The only thing I didn’t like was how some of the courses were not leveled. No matter where you hit, the ball would roll to the same spots or be out of bounds. They need to do a little bit more maintenance.
The driving range located on the other side is spacious and has two levels. You pay for the amount of balls you want inside their deli looking space and you bring your receipt to a machine which has your pass code to retrieve the balls.
Overall a really nice and clean golf center and I would definitely come back to try «Juliet» next time.

It’s been ages since I’ve been here. I liked it then and I still like this place now. Ample parking, facility is pretty clean, they’ve added a «Clubhouse» which serves food and drinks (alcohol also), the mini golf course is decent and the prices for the driving range us reasonable. I usually purchase the Jumbo or Eagle which is $ 16 for 200 balls and $ 20 for 260. This is a 2 floor driving range also. Why not 5 stars? Well some stalls are missing the rubber tees and you have to find a unoccupied one to grab the tee from there. The bathroom smells and isn’t always well maintained. If you’re in a stall down wind or where the pros are teaching, it hits you like a ton of bricks. Other then that, I would highly recommend this location if the Alley Pond one is full and you’re willing to drive a little further out.

This place is great I love the fact that there are plenty parking space for customers I also like the curtain looking thing to block the wind for each section the only thing that I don’t like is that there r so many lessons going on so u basically can’t use the half of first floor section

With the significant popularity of golf now going on twenty years, practice and playing facilities remain quite popular during the off season.
The off season popularity is most glaringly obvious at Spring Rock where the stalls have occupants that seem to hit balls all day long, hitting two buckets of 200 balls. As much as I respect practicing and investment in ones game, it is also a tad annoying when the individuals are horrible players, with top technology gear holding to the opinion they are good players and deserve all the time within the best stalls. It’s selfish behavior.
The facility itself has all the necessary pro shop items, but if your not like them, attitude of indifference and aloofness is omnipresent. Would love to catch them out on the course so they can show me how much all their practice translates to their final score, I doubt any can legitimately break 90.
I just that I get a kick out of playing with these types, no mental toughness as one poor shot pretty much ends their ability to focus on the holes ahead. I used to play like that, when I was fifteen.
As much as golf is a unifying game, a game for gentlemen a game that deserves respect, I see none of that here. Only a bunch of falsely heightened and inflated egotistical hacks.

Came here for a nice friendly match couple vs couple. We played the romeo court 21 holes.
I love playing almost what is like a mountain the water feature is great.
The course does need a little tlc. There were some bricks missing on some of the courses. I wish for each next course is stated how many par you should get the ball in.
Lastly as beautiful as the water feature is… It is like a mosquito breeding ground. Wish there was some safe chemical they could put in there to keep the mosquito count less. Maybe some colors for the water at night would look cool.

Great location hidden away in New Hyde Park. Gorgeous facility with putting greens, driving range, and mini golf.
Prices are unbeatable. $ 20 for a bucket of 260 balls. Not as price gouging and not as packed as anywhere in the 5 boroughs.
An extra 10 min drive from nearby Douglaston brings you more parking, less wait, and cheaper prices.

The driving range here consists of 2 levels with pros and amateurs in the mix. It is covered so you can still go when it rains. 260 balls for $ 20 is the way to go. Club rental is $ 2 however they do not rent drivers. So if you thought you would come here to hit the ball far with a rental club, you’re dead wrong.

I have been coming here for years on and off — and actually took my wife here for our first date playing mini golf so I have nothing but good things to say about Spring Rock.
Range — can get packed at times (went there at 11:00 pm once on a weekend and had to wait for a spot) but the range has great markers letting you know how far you are hitting your clubs no matter where you are practicing from. This is huge if you are trying to dial in a new set. Other ranges in the area have flags set up — good luck trying to figure out what each color is) Little things like a key hook at your spot. If they are smart they should add iPhone holders so you can record your swing on your own.
Has a decent pro shop and food area. Also back in the day it had a sushi bar or restaurant when it first opened. It now appears to be closed. They should reopen it for parties or karaōke or small party catering. Would be a nice birthday party combo with the mini golf.
Also took my first lessons there with John Sutter. Nice enough guy — i dont remember the lessons now — but he got me started — still learning how to play this game 10+ years later and only now making strides thanks to Paul Wilson.
Has a free putting area with plenty of holes and sand pitching area — astroturf there way too fast for any real putting practice but good for aiming.
The buckets are also a great value. They offer a 300+ bucket. I usually do 175 but might try the 300+ to work on chipping. I saw this tiny Korean girl once carrying the 300+ bucket and it looked bigger than her. I think I would collapse — gonna work my way up to that.
Mini golf also has a cute train ride for the kids that drives around the back areas of this range and parking lot. Check the doors though — one was popping open — if you have a really little one you should ride with them. Train ride could be more fun if they add some props like water squirts or fake animals etc but hey my kids loved it.
Mini golf is very nice probably the best in nyc as far as I know. They used to have a fun hole that looped around but I think they changed it. If you are going with little ones warn them early about not going to edges of water hazard on the final holes or you might be bringing home a wet kid.
Other ranges in the area don’t compare. That’s why I give it five stars but this place could be even better one day if they keep working at it as they have been.

I’ve never been to their driving range, but their mini-​golf is a good time. You can chose between two courses; the Romeo or the Juliet. The Romeo is 21 holes and the Juliet is 18. We were in a group of 5 and went at about 8 p.m. I felt a bit bad because right after we started the Romeo a bunch of smaller groups joined the course and had to wait for us. We didn’t dawdle, but you know, we wanted to enjoy our experience too.
The holes are fun and the course isn’t gimmicky like you’ll find in touristy towns (just drive through Lake George upstate and you’ll see what I mean)
I like that the Romeo travels inside the fake rocks because you get a pretty view of the fountain.
It’s fun, inexpensive ($ 8 per adult, I forget how much for children), and offers a bonding activity with light friendly competition.

Danny was a great instructor. Came here for a 1 hr lesson and he gave really good feedback on how to improve my swing and it was wonderful that he was able to video tape me and compare it to a professional golfer (pointing out all my flaws!). It was helpful.
I liked that this facility was large and clean, open good hours and overall a good driving range. I will be back.
