I gave this place a second try and I love it! I go at least three times a month! Mike is the best I don’t go to anyone else

This is your typical Asian spa. They have their routine and they stick to it. I first had a half hour foot massage there which was fine. Didn’t expect a back rub while my feet were soaking which was a nice plus. Half hour was $ 18 which in my book is a good deal.
Returned to get an hot body massage and was neither pleased or disappointed. I got what I expected, a mediocre massage. The woman used too much pressure for my liking throughout the whole massage but I never said anything so I can’t deduct points for that. I also didn’t expect the hot towel, which I don’t quite know how to feel about.
I gave this place a three because at exactly an hour the woman stepped out of my room. She rushed through massaging my leg for one minute and then said «one hour over,» stood there, stared at me for 5 seconds and then left the room. I know I paid for an hour but I figured she would have gotten through the full massage within that time period.
The other star is deducted because the massage tables are on the opposite side of the wall of a hibachi restaurant. I could hear the utensils clinking as the chef was cooking. Didn’t bother me tremendously, but took away from the already dark/​bath parlor atmosphere.
I’ll come back for a foot massage. Probably not bodywork.

I love New garden spa!!! Everyone here is professional! When I finished, I feel refreshed like reborn. It helps me a lot! I almost tried everyone here. They are all good and professional. The place makes me feel peace and warm. The staff is nice. asked them for soft or hard work because they all have strong magic hands.

Don’t waste your time and money. It’s not worth it!!! The bottom line is… it is cheap because the masseuse is not licensed therapist. I told the woman to be gentle but she kept apply hard pressures everywhere. I came in with back pain and I came out with sore muscles and intensified back pain. Never again !!!

The massage was horrible… could not wait for it to be over almost as much as the masseur who also seemed to wish to be somewhere else
Upon checkout and payment the receptionist suddenly pulled a sign indicating minimum tips from below the desk which had nit been in display previously. Seems it only comes out if not satisfied with the tip.
Tips should reflect measure of satisfaction with service provided not what makes owner happy.
I would give this place a big miss

Another massage place where no one is professionally trained. The worst part was the horribly smelly oil they used. I had to shower 2x to get the smell off. Yuck!

Full body massage or foot massage or a mix of both? Sure, whatever you want they’ll do.
And $ 35 for 60 minutes or $ 50 for 90 minutes??? THATS DIRT CHEAP FOR A REALLY GOOD MASSAGE in LI. Yes they are chinese. Yes you will get a slightly different massage depending on the person you get, but they are ALL good. I’ve never walked out & said, «wow what a waste of my 35 dollars.» I’ve without a doubt gotten better massages here than places I’ve had to pay $ 60-​$ 100/​hr.
Vicinity is clean, all the masseuses really dig into you & they will massage whatever areas you need work on (just speak up if you want it softer, harder or want them to focus on specific areas!)
They offer a small discount if you pay cash. Open late too!

We go here at least once per week. The prices are very reasonable. The massages are amazing, both back and foot. If you buy a package, you are actually prepaying for 10 services and getting the 11^th and 12^th free. It may seem a little pricey but it’s totally worth it!

It wasn’t the worst massage I’ve had but it definitely wasn’t the best one either. I kept waiting for the massage to feel good but that never happened. We went on a Friday night at 9pm so maybe all the good masseuses left for the day?

Went to this Spa yesterday and it was amazing. I had muscle spasms in my back, chest, and arms and Mia was able to help tremendously. They’ve earned a new customer!

Awesome experience ask for Cindy she is phenomenal!!! Confirms with you multiple times if she is applying the right amount of pressure. Love the warm towel and most of all listens to your needs.

$ 35 & great reviews I really really wanted to like this place. All though it looks shady from outside I wasnt too bothered. The place is actually really clean and nice once you surpass the sketchy outside, however my problem was with the massage itself. It was just OK. While it felt good, I suppose left with the same knots I came in with! I really wanted him to go to town on my knots and be kink free but that was not the case. My girlfriend also got a massage however she left in a lot of pain and soreness, but also with no knots gotten out.
The staff & owner are nice but there is a $ 10tip minimum which is kind of outrageous since we left unsatisfied
Needless to say we won’t be returning

This is a wonderful place for a good value massage. The atmosphere is soooo relaxing the pictures others posted are very accurate, so no suprises. The employees are very polite, professional, and kind. No problems making an appt ahead of time and they took me right when I arrived. I got the one hour massage… the woman utilized a variety of techniques and did about equal portions of time on my whole body (I mean whole – they will massage your butt, through a blanket and also bare. I didn’t mind but if you think you would maybe speak up beforehand). She also used a lighter pressure, but also hit some good points pretty hard. Felt like it lasted 20 min but nope actually an hour! Haha left in a daze. Since this was on the lighter side I’m not sore from it either. I highly recommend this place.

Hidden gem is right! Almost did not find it… it is in a King Kullen shopping center… next to a sushi spot, on the far corner. I walked in and immediately felt relaxed. Mary gave me an amazing facial plus (she rubbed my arms, fingers, legs, feet, neck, the list goes on). Very satisfied customer. Found my new spa place!

Went back again, go for the guys they know what they are doing!
Hour massage totally worth it. Took two other men and no complaints but wish they spent more time on my legs and arms so maybe next time I will tell them to focus.

Affordable massages given by technicians who are truly trained and know their craft. Highly recommend going here for some relaxation!

I love New Garden Spa! It’s located in a small shopping complex right next to King Kullen with ample parking. When you walk into the spa, the prices are clearly visible. I decided to get a 30 minute body massage ($ 25) and a deep cleansing facial ($ 50). I only waited about five minutes before I was led inside. I instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed the soothing music and dim lights! My massage was amazing! She targeted the areas of my back that were extremely tense and did a really job! I then got a facial which was super relaxing. She placed the steam and warm towel on my face, which was just what I needed. The deep cleansing facial also includes extractions… so I was very pleased to not have any redness on my face. My facial and massage only came out to $ 75.00 which is a great deal compared to other spas! They didn’t bug me about the amount of tip that I should leave like some of the other Unilocalers stated. I gave her a good tip because she definitely deserved it! Let me just add that they close at 10:00 PM which is awesome. Do your body a favor and try out this spa! You won’t regret it.

This is a body and foot massage parlor that just opened in GCP (located in the King Kullen lot). The prices are quite cheap for a body massage (One hour is $ 35, while two hours is $ 50). I’ve only been here once but the massage was good. I only give it three stars as the massage areas are not so private (think of it as a galley style massage rooms with curtains as doors — so you can hear everybody else around you sighing and groaning) and I am unsure if the masseuses are licensed. I got a two hour body work massage that was overall really good (the masseuse went HAM on my back and legs) but thought the massage started out a little weird. The masseuse started out massaging my head but then started almost wailing on it and then he stuck his fingers in my ears and eyes as some kind of pressure point thing — wtf?!
I think this place is okay for a quick and cheap massage fix but definitely not a show stopper.

From the outside you can’t tell what relaxation and comfort awaits. There’s a small front sitting room and as you enter the double doors, you’re transported to a haven of soothing music, dim lighting, and private massage rooms. I’ve been to this place twice now. I have to say my first experience was better. I asked for a moderate/​medium pressure full body massage. By the time the hour was over, I felt every single muscle manipulated in my back, neck and legs. It was a good sore.
Two things were different from when I came in April. The first being a face massage during the body massage. In the past when I’ve gotten body massages, you don’t usually get a face massage with it. It made me feel weird after having the rest of my body massaged to then have oil on my face. I don’t mind a head massage, but my face was off limits!
Secondly, after I had paid for my massage I was told that there was minimum tip of $ 10. For a $ 35 body massage, that tip is about a 28.5% tip. The last time I came I gave $ 6. I feel that anywhere from $ 5 – 7 (15−20%) for tip is adequate. They should leave extra tip to the discretion of the customer. Sorry to say, but this left a sour taste in my mouth.

This is one of the best massage places on Long Island. I tried several places (Asian and American) and this place is superior to others.
If you ask for strong massage you better be ready — it will be strong!
Affordable price allows you to enjoy the massage more often making it part of your weekly routine.
The guy I had on my first visit really knew anatomy very well sculpting all my muscles just the right way.
If you try this place once you will be back again.
